We had the good fortune of connecting with Jessica Marx and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Jessica, is there something that you feel is most responsible for your success?
The tenacity to never give up and the drive to take risks even if it meant there was a potential for failure as an outcome. From the day I launched my brand I was committed to changing and impacting the lives of female entrepreneurs. I was willing to be a trailblazer and create programs outside of what others in my industry were doing. I am a firm believer that as business owners, we need to be visionaries. We need to be able to create the future for our brands and adapt to what our customers need most. It’s always been about my clients and it always will be.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
The foundation of my business has one goal…client results. They are what lights my fire and drives me to show up at the level I do every day. I work with incredibly talented female business owners and their ROI in my programs is always at the forefront of my mind. When they succeed, I succeed. I am confident that what sets me apart in such a saturated market is that I have tangible experience building a multi-billion dollar business. I know firsthand the highs and lows that come with creating a massively successful brand. It’s because of this that I am able to have real conversations with clients. I am able to assist them with the sales as well as the operational aspects of the business.
Any great local spots you’d like to shoutout?
I am so incredibly grateful to live in one of America’s most beautiful cities! If you’re planning to visit a must stay hotel would be L’Auberge in Del Mar with a coastal drive through all the beach cities up North. I would have lunch at George’s at the Cove followed by shopping at all the little beachfront stores. We also love taking out of town guest to Coronado Island for the day for a true San Diego experience! Riding beach cruisers and cocktails at The Del!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
When I launched my business, I had just come out of a corporate career in healthcare which was not only a male dominated industry but it wasn’t going to be my new call point of clientele. I knew I needed a tribe of women to lean on and seek advice from so I could truly understand their pain points as entrepreneurs. I searched high and low to find the right networking group that didn’t feel like a total waste of time. A group that was welcoming, supportive and could generate new leads for my brand. After attending an event hosted by Level Community, I knew I had found the support system I was looking for. This networking group ultimately gave me the information I needed to launch my group coaching program, The Female Founders Club. I am still an active member today and can’t say enough about becoming a member of a group like Level.
