We had the good fortune of connecting with Jenn Ramczyk and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jenn, how did you come up with the idea for your business?
I came up with the business idea when I saw all the ladies and girls dealing with sexism in the game of soccer. The business began in the UK and I talked with the leader of the organization in the UK about bringing it to the USA. She gave me her blessing to proceed. The reason I wanted to bring it to the USA is I have experienced sexism while watching my favorite club play. I was at the pub watching the game, when my butt was brushed against on multiple occasions. I believe all people should be able to watch their team without being harassed. The USA was founded in March of 2022. Her Game Too USA is an unpaid, voluntary campaign led by a team of dedicated female soccer fans who are passionate about creating a positive change in football and the wider sport world. We aim to raise awareness and educate others on the importance of inclusivity and diversity in sports. Our ultimate goal is to create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone, regardless of their background, ability, or gender. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to participate in sports and have access to the same resources and opportunities.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Her Game Too USA is all about inclusivity and equality in sports. It is not easy, but it is the challenges that keep all of us going, knowing there is more to be done. It all began with getting a few ladies to share their stories and creating a video to release on social media. From there we have started talking to soccer clubs about partnering with us in this cause. We have 9 clubs who have chosen to partner with us and we continue to meet with more clubs to join us. The lessons I have learned is to be honest and open about the issues and show how they can benefit from joining in making everyone feel welcomed regardless of who they are. I want the world to know our vision at Her Game Too is to create a world where soccer is a sport that everyone can enjoy, regardless of gender. We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all female supporters, where they feel empowered to engage with the game and are treated with respect both on and off the pitch. We aim to promote the visibility of women’s soccer and encourage its growth championing the women’s game and supporting grassroots girls’ development. We work collaboratively with our team and club ambassadors. Our ambassadors represent Her Game Too within their respective clubs, promotion our mission and values. Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I would take them into Chicago and visit the Bean. It is an iconic sculpture in the city. We would then take a day to walk the Michigan Mile. Have to get some deep dish pizza at Lou Malnatis. We could take a scenic boat tour on the Chicago River into Lake Michigan to see the architecture around the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
The person who deserves all the recognition is Caz May and all the ladies of the Her Game Too UK for having the bravery and courage to start this organization in May 2021. Without them, it would not be possible to bring it to the USA.
