Hi Jeffrey E., what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
I started my real estate business because I wanted to build something I truly own a reputation built on service. I spent years in field service and project management where results came from being organized, communicating clearly, and doing what you say you’re going to do. Real estate is the same, just with higher stakes for families. My job is to guide people through complex decisions with clarity and confidence and help them avoid costly mistakes. My Slogan Is Just Jeff Just Results it’s how I operate.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I’m Jeffrey E. Hill, REALTOR® with Sally Love Real Estate, serving Marion County and the surrounding areas. My business is built on a results-driven approach: clear communication, strong execution, and consistent follow-through—that’s the standard behind my tagline, “Just Jeff, Just Results.”

What sets me apart is the business foundation I brought into real estate. Before this career, I spent 26 years in field service, account management, and project management, where performance depended on deadlines, accuracy, and problem-solving under pressure. That background trained me to run real estate like a professional operation—tight timelines, clear expectations, and no surprises. I also have a construction and remodeling background, which helps me evaluate homes with a practical lens and guide clients toward smarter decisions.

I’m proud of building a business rooted in trust and community. I’m a board member of the Dunnellon Chamber of Commerce and Business Association, and I previously served as Membership Director with the Ormond Beach Chamber of Commerce—experience that sharpened my ability to connect with people, build partnerships, and create long-term referral relationships.

Was it easy? No. I earned traction through consistency: daily outreach, disciplined follow-up, continuous learning, and high standards. The lesson I’ve learned is simple: results come from professionalism and repetition, not hype. I want the world to know my brand stands for steady leadership and real outcomes—Just Jeff, Just Results.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend came to visit for a week and I wanted to show them the best time ever, I’d build the trip around what they enjoy most—because this area has a little bit of everything. If they’re scuba certified, we’re going straight to Blue Grotto Dive Resort and Devil’s Den Prehistoric Spring for some of the most unique freshwater diving Florida has to offer.

If they’re not dive certified, I’m still putting them on crystal-clear water—Rainbow River for kayaking or tubing is an easy win and one of the most relaxing “Old Florida” experiences you can have.

Mid-week, I’m taking them to Crystal River—whether that’s fishing, being on the water, or just soaking up the Nature Coast vibe.

And at least one night, we’re doing The Villages: dinner, people-watching, and live music at Lake Sumter Landing Market Square or Brownwood Paddock Square—it’s just a fun atmosphere and an easy way to end a day.

If they want the full Florida reset, we’ll finish with a beach day and keep the last day flexible—repeat the favorite: dive again, paddle again, or another dinner-and-music night. The main thing is I’d tailor it to their style, but the backbone is always the same: springs, water, good food, and a little nightlife.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’d like to give credit to Neal Oates Jr. for the role he has played in my growth as a Realtor. His encouragement, mentorship, and consistent availability for real conversations helped me sharpen my approach, stay disciplined, and move forward with greater clarity and confidence. I’m genuinely grateful for his guidance and the impact it has had on where I am today.
