Meet Jamie Morrissey | Energy Healer & Emotional Sovereignty Coach

We had the good fortune of connecting with Jamie Morrissey and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jamie, what is the most important factor behind your success?
To answer this question, I have to share a bit about what success means to me. My idea of success- real success- is to live a life that is heart-centered and feels fully aligned with who I am as a person. Prior to becoming an energy healer, I was a school psychologist. I was respected, was advancing in my career and often looked to for guidance by others in my profession. From the outside, I seemed to be very successful, but I certainly did not feel that way. I knew in my heart I wasn’t meant to stay in that career path and I was meant to help others in a different way. I could have made millions of dollars, but until I shifted to energy healing, which is what feels right in my heart, I would never have felt successful.

It is these same principals that I bring into my business as an energy healer. Rather than base the offers I create, the content I share or the language I use on traditional business and marketing logic, I make all of these decisions in a heart-centered way. For me, this means to choose the path that feels most aligned with who I am and who I want to be as a person. When my business decisions feel right in my heart, they turn out more successful than I could have imagined. At times when I do find myself being swayed by the opinions of others, business feels more like a struggle.

I truly believe we were all given our desires, interests and passions so that we could go out and share them with the world. When we truly tune into our hearts and get clear on who we want to be and how we want to live, all aspects of our lives thrive- including business. Not only can we start to truly FEEL successful when run a heart-centered business, we also magnetize more clients to us. As an energy healer, my brand is me and the energy I give off. While marketing tips and tricks may work to increase revenue in the short-term, the true key to success is building a community of people who feel fully aligned with your brand message. To do this, your brand message needs to be fully aligned with who you are as a person. When you act from your heart, it creates an energy around your business that is undeniable.

What should our readers know about your business?
In 2020, I founded my business, Spiritual Rebel Healing. I help my clients achieve emotional sovereignty, so they can go from being at war with their emotions, to using them to reconnect with their intuition and step into the life of their dreams. I offer various types of energy healing services to assist my clients in healing. Currently, I offer private 1:1 energy healing sessions, small group healing circles (which can also be booked privately) and the Release & Reconnect healing intensive. This is a 6-week small group energy healing intensive that provides energy healing, while teaching the members how to release their own trapped emotions, so they can reconnect with their intuition for a more heart-led life. I am so excited and proud to be offering this transformative experience!

All of my energy healing and coaching sessions are intuitively led, which is what makes them so unique and what makes the 6-Week Intensive so powerful. Rather than create an agenda that I think my clients might need, I am able to connect with their energy to provide the healing, teaching and guidance they REALLY need in the moment to achieve their healing goals. Rather than guess what the root of cause of intense emotions or physical symptoms may be, the energy healing I channel helps us get straight to the real root, for true mind, body and spirit healing.

Starting my business has been a bit of a wild ride! The journey hasn’t always been easy or comfortable, but it has all been worth it. I was first introduced to the powers of energy healing as I followed my own path of healing. Prior to becoming an energy healer, I worked in the mental health field for over a decade. In this work, something was missing and I always knew I was only addressing one piece of the puzzle. I knew traditional psychological treatments alone were not going to bring my clients, or myself, deep healing and transformation.

So, I began researching alternative healing modalities. Eventually, I was exposed to energy healing for the first time. Immediately during my first session, I knew energy healing was the missing link- for myself and my clients. I could feel my body and mind releasing trapped emotions and traumas that other forms of treatment had not been able to budge.

Soon after, I began using energy healing with my own clients, who were experiencing amazing results. Knowing I had found my calling, I transitioned to providing energy healing to others on a full-time basis. Getting to this point has taken many leaps of faith. I have often made decisions that would appear foolish based on traditional logic. Fortunately, what I have found is that the more of my heart I put into my work, the more my business, my clients and my own health thrive.

The mission of Spiritual Rebel Healing is to share the transformational powers of energy healing around the world and to show others that they can, indeed, live their own heart-centered lives.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’m definitely a creature of habit when it comes to my favorite spots! I am somewhat new to the San Diego area myself, but here are some of my favorites, so far:

For all the dog lovers out there, you have to check out the area’s dog beaches! There’s nothing like seeing your pup frolic happily in the waves. My two favorites are Dog Beach in Ocean Beach and the Del Mar Dog Beach.

I love any eatery with organic and gluten free options. Some of my current favorites are Second Nature in Pacific Beach, as well as Parakeet Cafe and Trilogy Cafe, which both have locations in La Jolla.

Other than that, there are endless spots to sit and soak up the sun and a beautiful view of the coast! I’m happy almost anywhere I can be in nature.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I truly would not be where I am today without the beautiful people I have in my life and without the community of women I have found over my journey. The first who I will always thank are my family, especially my parents. They have always encouraged me to follow my heart and be all of who I am.

I have also recently found an amazing community of women from all over the world who have supported me through my spiritual journey, as well as my journey as a business owner. People were made to be connected to other people. Having a group of women on a similar journey who understand, support and accept me has been truly priceless.

I’d also love to give a shoutout to an amazing woman who I am grateful to call my business coach and spiritual mentor, Christina Rice. We all need mentors to fully reach our potential! Her support and guidance has pushed me to grow in ways that I would never have thought were possible.
