We had the good fortune of connecting with HADEE. and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi HADEE., Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
As an artist, I feel that transparency in all your work is something that cannot be compromised. With how mentally constrictive things can be nowadays, I find that genuineness can be quite refreshing. Furthermore, it seems that a creative is required to be vulnerable to fully phone in on the thoughts that allow them to bring their vision to fruition. One has to be fully prepared to be met with varying opinions on their work, thus it is only more so important that they complete their art with honesty and conviction.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
HADEE. is an Alt-Pop/Rock artist from South Florida. Taking influence from 80s synth-pop likened to Billy Idol, 70s Bowie glam, a touch of classic film noir, HADEE. finishes off this blend with a balanced mix of modernity not unlike The Killers, Two Door Cinema Club, Young The Giant, and Walk The Moon.

A Close Look at “4AM”:

With the balanced mix of retro and modern, emerging artist HADEE. delivers the 80s movie soundtrack we never knew we needed with his debut single, “4AM”. Released on April 22nd, 2022, this first track of many explores the concept of letting all inhibitions go despite whatever could possibly go wrong. “4AM” is available on all streaming and video platforms.

“4AM” Analysis:

I find that too many give in to overthinking rather than embracing spontaneity. Life presents itself as endless crossroads. Knowing when to go is what you have to decide. If you take too long, you might just miss your ride.

Most of us would be a hypocrite to say we are not guilty of that system of thinking. With that being said, this is the point I lyrically combat in ‘4AM’. While the argument could be made that the majority of us no longer find drive in the long-term chase, rather falling for lust and immediate satisfaction, I try to show consideration to the latter.

To me, regret is the one thing that can eat you alive far after you die. Any other fear is simply a mortal construct.

In this context, I side with spontaneity and welcome all doors it may open.

In my first single, “4AM”, my intention was for the listener to feel the beauty that prequels the pain we all experience even in our best relationships. Similar to the numbing shot of adrenaline you feel when you tear something, love has a warm way of easing you in. It tells you, “I’m here, but what follows may sometimes hurt.” Each of us do it for different reasons, yet the commonality we find at the end stands true for everyone: We learn more about who we really are.

What Is To Come:

HADEE. is currently working on multiple upcoming singles he plans to release this year, as well as continuing to evolve his other interests in modeling and acting.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Being from South Florida, it’s easy to just say the beach is a must. Ironically, I rarely ever go to the beach though. If anything, I’ll end up there while on a night drive down A1A. Given that I am completely an old soul, there are a few really great antique stores in my area that are enjoyable to explore. I love record shops as well. The main ones I go to are Way Back When “Antique & Collectible” (Margate), Radioactive Records (Fort Lauderdale) and We Got The Beats (Oakland Park). I always leave there with some gems. A couple chill bars/lounges I’ve enjoyed are The Funky Biscuit (Boca Raton) and The Apothecary 330 (Fort Lauderdale). If one prefers something a bit more rowdy, there’s many places for that as well such as Riverside (Fort Lauderdale) or Wynwood Arts District (Miami). For the most part, I usually end up finding myself at home with some red wine and dim lighting while song writing. But if I go out, I don’t plan to be back until morning. The sunrise is my cue that I should probably go to sleep.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
No one ever makes it on their own. For those that have, they could have gone much further with the help of the right people around them. This concept applies to myself, as I would be nothing and nowhere without the support of my close friends and the many amazing souls I’ve encountered on this journey so far who have always shown such immense support for what I do. I can never thank them enough for believing in me when no one else would. While I still have far more to go, I eagerly await all obstacles fully knowing that I will not pursue the world alone.
