We had the good fortune of connecting with Felicia Vieira and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Felicia, what do you attribute your success to?
Flexibility and changing with consumer needs while staying true to your business model. When a customer asks if we have certain capabilities, we try to say yes or we will look into it. We have learned from other businesses that state no or we cannot do something is limiting. We liked to be challenged and think outside the box for our customers and bring solutions. Due to this tenacity we have been able to expand our product offerings and increased our customer relationships and loyalty.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Its all about entertainment and the bar scene for me in San Diego. I love to show my friends places or views they have never been. SpeakEasy locations like, Prohibition Lounge, is a place where one of my first ideas for a mixer flavors and is a must stop downtown. Their mixologists tend to have the best quality flavors and simple syrup collection. I am a Hawaiian at heart & love fun Rum cocktails so dropping by False Idol Tiki Bar is another stop. If we have time then Noble Experiment for my favorite Dirty Martini!

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Although they have passed on I would like to thank my grandparents from both my mom and dads side for their entrepreneurial and innovative ideas along with keeping with passing traditions on to me.

My grandfather from my mothers side was a hispanic immigrant and one of the first to be innovative in creating a company of unified migrant workers performing work over multiple farming lands throughout the San Juaquin Valley instead of the traditional migrant workers living and working for a single farmer. He formed relationships and was able to keep his team employed year round with higher wages by working farms seasonally. My grandmother, his wife, was strategic in running all of the finances and keeping their company profitable and employees happy. As a way to give back to those ranchers that supported their business Crafted purchases juices from San Juaquin based companies to continue to support farming.

My Grandmother from my fathers family brought traditional recipes from Portugal that we use today. Crafted Cocktails Shrubs are an origin drink that was meant to keep military healthy while traveling. Shrubs can be used as a health aid as shots or mixed with water but were also a traditional drink mixed with alcohols to enhance flavors.
