We had the good fortune of connecting with Draymond “Tha Great” and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Draymond, what is the most important factor behind your success?
The “X” or The “it” factor behind my success is that I understand that you can not give up and that as long as there are people in the world… someone doesn’t know who or what your brand is or what is the mission behind it… I’ve decided that everyday I will make at least 1 person that doesn’t know my brand, know 1 thing about it.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I chose other because I did not only want to be defined as businessman but as well as a creative/artist. To date I’m most proud of persevering through the trails that I have been faced with in the life. My work is to generally find solutions to problems faced by humanity. Which is why I named my companies (All Purpose Entertainment & Middle Man Services). The world is flawed by nature and I believe that is our responsibility as humankind to provided solutions for ourselves as well other beings of this realm…animals, plants etc.. My success thus far hasn’t been easy and I’d never expected it to because what I’m asking for most wont achieve it in life. I’ve overcome a lot of challenges by just keeping a focused mind & sticking to my plan. My biggest lesson that I’ve learned is that you write your own life story and having patience with your self will benefit you in the long run. Small goals being reached will equate to small wins which ultimately turn into bigger success. I started out not having much knowledge or confidence in my self as most of us do…but I decided had a meeting with myself and convinced my self that I will be the best at what ever I do and i will always put my best foot forward to obtain my goals.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My grandfather ( Harvey Williams Sr.) has played a inspiring role in my life since an early age. My paw-paw also known as “Big Harvey” was just that person in my life that at an early age I wanted to be like. My grandfather always had nice cars, multiple houses, & rolls of money. The community loved him because he was very generous and acted as a father to kids in our hometown that was father-less. I always just wanted to be that staple in my community like him. His business mindset was always stiff which allowed him to standout in all faucets of life and business. The greatest book I’ve read and which I still read is “Contagious’ by Jonah Burger. This book has helped me to think in the way I conduct my business but mostly my marketing techniques. Lastly, my wonderful girl-friend/fiance (Nakyera Joyner). She deserves so much credit/recognition because she has matched my intensity when it comes to taking chances and stepping out on a limb when conducting business. As a men I need that from a partner, she gives me the female perspective on business. It has honestly grown my knowledge and wealth tremendously over the last 2 years. She has attitude that is unmatched in regards to business. She pushes me to learn more and never to be comfortable while conducting ventures. Business and people are always changing so its in best interest to adapt and prosper she reminds. Thank you, Lady luck!
