Meet Dorian Linkogle | Proprietor

We had the good fortune of connecting with Dorian Linkogle and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Dorian, what are you inspired by?
We were inspired by the culture and mystery of Wine. Wine has been referred to as the Nectar of the Gods. Wine historically used as a sacramental drink is truly a gift from God, the soil, the sunshine and the rain all come together magically to produce fruit that ultimately becomes over time fine wine.

What should our readers know about your business?
Many years ago, before developers discovered Temecula the valley was dotted with small family owned wineries. My husband Les and I purchased a beautiful estate from a Disney Imagineer. The initial reason for the purchase was so our son, Larry could ride a motorcycle in the open space of the country. Our son, Larry would become one of the pioneers of Motocross Freestyle and thus birthed an entire Sport and an entire Industry.
It turned out that the estate location was perfect for growing grapes. In growing the grapes Les and I developed a true love for the rich culture of Wine. The winery is a fruition of a lifelong dream: To produce World Class Wines. That dream is driven by a deep love and passion for the art of winemaking and viticulture.
From 2002-2007 we worked tirelessly on the various permitting processes, inspections and public hearings. Our desire to create a place of Enchantment and a wine tasting experience was become a reality.
The challenges were many, overcoming them continued to bring us to our lifelong philosophy ” when you do what you love and love what you do, you will never work again”. The Winery opened in 2007
Our winery has charmed all who visit us. The wine coupled with the charm and ambience of the grounds make for an unforgettable experience and a lasting memory. We invite you to visit and enjoy the award winning wine and Taste the Enchantment.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would start the visit in the Beautiful Temecula Wine Country. I would make arrangements to take a Hot Air Balloon ride in the morning and follow that with a visit to a few beautiful wineries like the Briar Rose Winery.
I would follow that with dinner in Old Town Temecula at the Gambling Cowboy.
I would then travel south to the Coastal City of San Diego. I would visit the San Diego Botanic Gardens, Balboa Park and finish the day in Little Italy for an outstanding dinner. Before leaving San Diego I would stop in to see the First Mission every built in America, Mission San Diego de Alcala and visit Old Towne San Diego and enjoy some authentic Mexican food.
I would conclude the trip in Oceanside, California. A most beautiful coastal town with a magnificent historic pier and breathtaking sunsets plus amazing restaurants like 333 Pacific and visit the scenic Oceanside Harbor. I would also sneak in a visit to the King of Missions, Mission San Luis Rey before before leaving Oceanside.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
