Hi Domica, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking.
Starting my travel business was definitely a risk — I was stepping into a new industry while juggling a career as a nurse and family life. But I believed in what I was building and knew I wanted to help others create lasting memories through travel. Taking that leap has opened so many doors and allowed me to grow in ways I never imagined. Sometimes the biggest risks lead to the most rewarding journeys.

What should our readers know about your business?
Rosy Memories Travel helps families, couples, and solo travelers plan unforgettable international vacations and cruises. I focus on personalized, stress-free experiences and treat every trip like it’s my own.

Starting my business while having a career in nursing and raising a family wasn’t easy, but I stayed committed and learned to grow through the challenges.

What sets me apart is the heart I put into every client’s journey. I want people to know that travel is more than a getaway — it’s about creating memories that last. And I’m proud to play a part in making that happen.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend visited, I’d show them the relaxed, beautiful Southern California vibe with great food and good energy.

We’d stay by the beach and enjoy fresh tacos for lunch. We’d explore Balboa Park and have dinner downtown with a rooftop view, followed by a relaxed night out.

We’d visit La Jolla for the views and seals, and spend a day enjoying farmers markets, brunch, and a sunset dinner by the water.

San Diego has a bit of everything, and I love being a tour guide for friends!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d love to shout out my husband for always supporting my dreams, and my late grandmother. Growing up we’d take family vacations to the beach and mountains, these memories inspired the name Rosy Memories. I’m also grateful for every client who trusts me to be part of their journey — they’re truly the heart of what I do.
