Meet Deepti Saini | Systems Strategist and Dubsado Expert

We had the good fortune of connecting with Deepti Saini and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Deepti, maybe we can start at the very start – the idea – how did you come up with the idea for your business?
When Covid hit, we were all stuck at home with extra time on our hands, so I gave freelancing as a Social Media Manager a shot. To my surprise, my side hustle took off! Suddenly, I was buried under a mountain of freelance work while trying to juggle a corporate job, toddler duties, and home responsibilities. I’d wake up at 4 a.m. for client meetings, squeeze in work during the evenings, and it was getting insanely hectic.
And then one night, at 2 a.m., my son woke me up hungry. I mumbled, “I’ll get your bottle,” but I was so wiped out, that I turned around and fell right back to sleep. The mom guilt haunted me for days!!! That’s when I knew, I needed a solution. But the thought of hiring and managing a team member? No, thank you! That’s when I found Dubsado.
Setting it up felt like it was a sign from the universe. It was the perfect match for my project management skills from the corporate world, and I realized I could help other parents run and grow their businesses without burning out. Within a year, I quit my corporate job (over a phone call, thanks to Covid) and since 2021, I’ve been all in, running my business full-time.
Over the past 3 years, I’ve helped 14+ creatives and coaches hit 6-figures while being a family-first entrepreneur. They’ve moved countries, explored new places, and been there for every school pickup, family dinner, and bedtime story – all while their business runs smoothly on autopilot.

What should our readers know about your business?
I’ve had quite the journey, moving from Fortune 500 companies to diving headfirst into the creative world. My background in Information Systems Management gave me a solid foundation, and I’ve worked with businesses in 8+ creative niches. What makes me different? I’m a parent who understands the need to build a business that fits into your life, not the other way around.
Switching from the corporate world wasn’t easy. In a big company, you have one role. As a business owner, you juggle everything – marketing, finance, HR, operations, L&D, you name it. It was a steep learning curve, but one I’m really proud of.
The technical side came naturally to me. I’ve worked with ERP tools like SAP and Workday, so when I found Dubsado, it clicked. I mastered it, first using it for myself and then helping my clients get the most out of it.
But even with all that, I did feel a bit like an outsider without a formal degree in this niche, so I decided to get Dubsado Certified in 2022. That certification wasn’t just a digital piece of paper – it was a huge confidence booster and proved my expertise. Plus, I was the first and only Indian to get that certification at the time, which was a huge win for me.
What’s my business all about? It’s about corporate structure with creative freedom – helping others build businesses that thrive without burning out.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I live in Gurgaon, just 30 minutes from New Delhi, and there’s a lot to enjoy here. For amazing street food and vibrant atmosphere, you have to check out Sec-29 Food Hub. Cyber City and 32nd Avenue Milestone are great for diverse dining experiences and cafes.
While Gurgaon itself is more about food and modern vibes, New Delhi is close by for historical sites and cultural experiences. The Delhi Metro makes it easy to explore iconic spots like India Gate, Red Forst, Lotus Temple, Qutub Minar, and Humayun’s Tomb.
Overall, you’ll get a fantastic mix of local flavors, modern conveniences, and cultural landmarks in just a short trip.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
First, a huge shoutout to Sun Yi – TEDx speaker, Forbes Councils member, and Founder of Night Owls. He introduced me to freelancing, not through a formal lesson, but by generously chatting with me and helping me figure out my next steps. That simple act set everything in motion.
Next, my son and my family. They’ve never questioned my decisions or tried to steer me in another direction. They listen, they pray for my business even when they don’t fully understand it, and they support me in ways that go beyond words – helping with the nitty-gritty like taxes and speaking proudly about my business at every family gathering. Hearing them say, “She’s running her own business,” with pride fills my heart.
And my husband, Gautam. No one in my family has done what I’m doing, so his support means the world to me. It’s not just about the deep conversations or asking him to review things he might not fully grasp. It’s the little things—like noticing my posture needs improvement and ordering a monitor, buying a mic to nudge me into creating YouTube content, or taking care of dinner and bedtime when I’m burning the midnight oil.
The day I quit my job, I was filled with nerves and uncertainty. I went to him, and he simply said, “Go ahead and explore; I’ll handle everything else.” That moment was unforgettable. He’s the wind beneath my wings.
