We had the good fortune of connecting with Courtney Bilokonsky and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Courtney, Let’s talk about principles and values – what matters to you most?
Active Duty Pets/AtEase Accents is meant to inspire and provide support to other military spouses to reach their goals. From the moment I started working on this small business I knew I wanted to employ military spouses looking for a second income, and help coach others with their own ideas. I have successfully employed over 15 military spouses since we started in 2016, and two have started their own E commerce businesses through my coaching.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
When you are starting your own small business the amount of decisions you have to make can be very daunting. However, you learn from trial and error. No one is Perfect. We all make mistakes. It is important to not give up your dream because of one set back. Embrace and harness your fears and turn them into brilliance.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
A bike ride on Mission Beach boardwalk then sushi with a view.
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
Shout out to my creative social media manager Antonio Kastsrov for keep Active Duty Pets Instagram fun and engaging!
