We had the good fortune of connecting with Casey Freundt and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Casey, do you have some perspective or insight you can share with us on the question of when someone should give up versus when they should keep going?
How to know wether to keep going or give up? My first thought is giving up is never an option. Having had a rather difficult childhood definitely gave me the strength, the tools and the answered prayers I needed to endure. To keep going and not lose hope. To not give up. I am thankful for that hardship as it helps me through the challenges of today. Life truly is beautiful. It’s precious! Life is challenging. It is suppose to be. life is a gift . It can be painful. The overcoming is what makes it so rewarding. Not giving up and having hope. Being still yet moving forward. I do feel things either contribute or contaminate our lives. I apply this truth to my day to day when making choices. If something is not contributing in my life then clearly it’s not meant for me and I move on… What contributes to your life? What contaminates? I feel the answers are quite clear when we are able to sit and be still with that question. So going back to the question of “ How to know wether to keep going or give up” my answer is Keep going with what is fueling you. Your soul. What contributes. Always keep going. one day at a time. Sometimes it’s one hour at a time. Sometimes it’s one second.. We have to keep moving forward. Step by step. What brings you joy? What excites you?
