Meet Cecilia Mortimer | Coach & Energy Healer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Cecilia Mortimer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Cecilia, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
A longing to bring together my experience from large corporations and my spiritual journey has brought me to where I am today. My mission is to help people connect to their intuition and their higher selves and to use those powers in a business environment. I am using energy tools, my coaching capabilities and my business and leadership skills to help people to access their full potential and to live their purpose.
For many years I worked as a C-suite executive in big well known companies in Sweden,
Europe. I loved my job and more specifically I loved the leadership parts of my work – to
drive change and guide whole organizations to go in new directions. Using my intuition to build 100 million dollar businesses. Still I felt that something was missing. Like there was a part of me that wasn’t present and I couldn’t find the true meaning in my day to day life. I joined a Healing Academy in Sweden, learned very powerful tools to connect to the innermost truth within and discovered that my true purpose wasn’t only about transforming companies but to help people to transform their life to live in their truth.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
To bring spiritual tools such as intuition and energy work to the business world and to use ancient knowledge as tools for transformation both personal and business transformation is my core. The biggest job for me was to make the shift within and to know what I was really called to do. So I have a lot of experience in both business, coaching and energy work that I used on myself to make my shift. I am now helping others to find their full potential, their true path and to create their own life and their own business.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would definitely bring my Swedish friends to the desert to watch the stars. To see the sun set and rise in the desert is pure magic to me. After spending a day or two in the desert we would go back to the beach in Encinitas. Eat as much tacos and Mexican food we could bare – we love The Taco Stand. I’ll let my kids show my friends how to surf and hopefully a few dolphins would pass by. Torrey Pines is a favorite spot for a day hike, especially when everything blooms and we would stop for a nice lunch at the Waverly or the best Happy Hour ever at Ki’s in Cardiff. And of course I’ll visit the Indigo Dragon and check out their amazing yoga sessions or their acupuncture. To top it all off I would take them for some quite time at the Meditation Garden.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Forever grateful to my Healing Teacher Ulla Anderén, without her pure and firm support I would not have come as far. And of course my ever supporting and loving husband Erik Meurling. And my kids, Klara and Vera, they are really showing me they way. So grateful to be close to they new generation that are guiding the rest of us into the future. I would also would like to recognize all that I learnt about leadership and transformation in my corporate life and in organisations like Schibsted and Åhléns.
