Meet Holly Schaefer | Owner and Esthetician at Hydrabeauty / Referral Partner @ Enlightened Hire

We had the good fortune of connecting with Holly Schaefer and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Holly, what principle do you value most?
As a contract worker, I understand what it’s like to work for someone. I have tons of responsibility as a business owner but what I do understand is that my business would not be what it is without my contractors. I take their suggestions, opinions and requests to heart and implement all of their ideas. My girls are what makes my business successful and I don’t take them for granted for one minute. I am huge on giving them the opportunity to be as successful as possible.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I own Hydrabeauty Face & Body Boutique. We specialize in a facial procedure called Hydrafacial MD. We designed a specialty version of the 3 step procedure that thoroughly exfoliates and infuses alpha & beta hydroxy acids as well as Hyaluronic acid into the skin to get rid of dry and dull skin. Our facials are luxurious and super relaxing. They come with a ton of massage! I also have two fantastic massage therapists that I have worked with for over 10 years. We are very dedicated to our customer care and only carry the finest products on the market including my very own serum! The Hydrabeauty Hemp and Hyaluronic serum has been a huge success for me.
We are so fortunate to have such wonderful clients. We struggled just like every other business through Covid, but our clients picked right back up with us and for that, I am grateful for each and every one of them.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Ohhhh San Diego! The best city on Earth for food and fun. Here is where I would take a visitor..and it would definitely take a whole week to get to everything.

Solana Beach fun! Lunch at Crust Pizza! Then a fun evening at the Saddle Bar.. Entertainment there is awesome!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I have two very important shouts! Tracey Lubben from Friends of Fallbrook has helped my buisness become what it is today with her love and supoort of small business in our community. Not only is she just a wonderful person and fun to be around but she is amazingly smart and dedicated to her work!
Susan Wos, the founder of Salonspa Connection and Enlightened Hire is another lady entrepeneur that I have so much admiration for. She’s also in the beauty business and was paying attention to what the industry needed. She went for it and created a very successful matchmaking company that I am delightened to be a part of.
