Meet Kimberly Glenns | Chef / Entrepreneur / CEO

We had the good fortune of connecting with Kimberly Glenns and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Kimberly, how does your business help the community?
I am incredibly passionate about giving back to the community about making sure that individuals are able to see an example of success and example of growth and example of strength and example of resiliency. Every opportunity that we find to give, we participate in as well as creating our own projects and avenues to be of assistance to families in need or other struggling businesses etc. We do a birthday assistance program to help parents who would like to celebrate their children with birthday party packages at no cost to them. We also get back with school supplies backpacks and other items. We also donate for meals at the holiday time to families in need

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I always like to coin a lot of my recipes or creations with the phrase Kim’s way. The reason for that is that I am never able to follow one set of instructions or recipe or blueprint to getting some thing done. I always like to dive into my creative side and find ways to bring colors together and flavors together textures together and all those other components that make food exciting and interesting and talk worthy and desired.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
So for an awesome weekend around my town I would start off with breakfast at Carolyn’s in Redlands, they have the best coffee cake I have ever had in my life you can go from there to Redlands packing district to grab a cocktail I may be a light salad but also be able to see a lot of the ambience and a lot of cool eclectic people. I would then head from there to the food lab and Riverside literally to stand in the middle of the place and be undecided as there are too many great options but this place is literally a trip around the world so if you want something cool that you won’t find at most other places that is the place to be. lastly we would head on down to Temecula to Wilson’s Creek winery for some delicious wine and charcuterie wonderful music and a great place to hang out with people you know and meet lots that you don’t.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my three amazing children Walter, Ashlynn and Kimorah. These three beautiful human beings have been the driving force behind all that I am at all that I do. They have played a pivotal role in every single part of the building of my businesses. They have done the grunt work, they have been the smiling faced after a long hard day, they have been cheerleaders, they have been dishwashers, and have gone mini nights with very little sleep but always in support of their mom and of the brands that we are creating. mind you, they work full-time, or full-time college students and very active In many other areas, yet their work ethic allows them to be organized and always willing to sacrifice.
