We had the good fortune of connecting with Regina Leigh and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Regina, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks can be a controversial topic to many. Some like to play it safe while others enjoy a good gamble. I am an advocate for “calculated” risks, healthy risks and strategic risks.

Tarot has helped me lay all my cards on the table, asses all the players, situations and potential outcomes. This allows one to wisley evaluate their situation from a different perspective and encourages creative and integrative decision making.

As an astrologer, I also take into consideration our current planetary alighnments and how this may impact the process of our outcomes. For example; we currently have 6 planets in retrograde; this rare planetary pushback can cause loss, delays, interference and having to retrace our steps. This retrograde season will require further evaluation. This would not be an ideal time to take risks or begin something new- rather it may encourage us to work on already existing projects, tasks and to master our exsisting skill sets.

Fortunately, there are tools such as Tarot and other divinations to help guide ones path. As a Tarot Practitioner, I am open to taking risks knowing that helping others seek higher information and counsel creates a profound ripple effect in the world at large, soley based on ones decision to take a risk or not.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Tarot is a very taboo topic, however I enjoy people opening up to exploring sources of higher learning and information. Tarot allows me to open a door of healing and exploration to those who seek counsel and guidance. I am very fortunate to have such a deep passion for the work I do and I understand it as my life mission to help others through the practice of Tarot.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I love the Ocean Beach drum circles and the culture in Ocean Beach. There is a strong soul community along the water and is filled with music, life and art. A picnic on the beach and meeting new people is the epitome of San Diego.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
This Magic Life launched my Tarot career and I was so blessed to work with such a strong group of boss women and I will forever hold This Magic Life very close to my heart along my journey.
