Meet Chanel Bagheri | Mortgage Loan Officer

We had the good fortune of connecting with Chanel Bagheri and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Chanel, how do you think about risk?
Taking risks has defined my young adult life. I would not be where I am today if I hadn’t taken any risks.
How I got here was not an easy path, but it was one that required taking risks.
I was in banking for quite some time pursuing management, and I took the biggest risk by quitting. Knowing I was about to lose my salary paid job, to jump to a job which was commission only is a risk in itself.
I was actively in real estate and I had a the best team leader. Pompeyo showed me success very early on in my career, but I did not feel like it was truly fulfilling me.
There I went again, I took another risk, even though math completely intimidates me,
I took the risk of leaving the comfortability of Pompeyo’s team to join Secure Funding Group.
My team leaders Omar and Diego showed me the ropes of home loans. They taught me to be confident, they taught me how to succeed in their own unique way, which has made me in essence the hard working successful woman I am today.
To all those people out there who want to pursue their dream in their career my message is this, take a leap of faith, take the risk, because there is nothing better than working for something that you are passion about.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I am Chanel, I am a mortgage loan officer, I do home loans, and help families achieve the dream of homeownership. Home Loans is my business.
My journey has not been easy, but I am here today because of hard work and perseverance.
A big lesson I learned in my career is that you need to believe in yourself. If you don’t believe in yourself, then you will never succeed. I manifested all of my success, and you can too!
What sets me apart is that I put in the work every single day, and I never give up.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Luckily for me, all of my best friends are from San Diego, but if we were to go out, I feel we would start at Barbusa for some appetizers and drinks, and then head over to a nice dinner, such as Animae, Born and Raised, Ruth Chris. Somewhere fun and delicious is always my idea of a good time.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My shout out is dedicated to Omar Garcia and Diego Palomera of Secure Funding Group.
I would not be where I am today in my career without you two, thank you.
