What makes me happy is my connection with people, my self care practices, being in nature or in the ocean and living a life of purpose. It feels good to have deeper conversations with people. It makes me feel like I am a part of something more important. I believe having a self care routine daily is another key to happiness. I’ve realized that what really makes me happy is working hard at something and seeing the hard work pay off over time. It’s such a fulfilling feeling for me. But what also makes me happy is the very simple life moments, spending time with people I love where everyone is present, I just try to appreciate those moments for what they are. Read more>>

In general, the wholesome company of close friends makes me happy. I’m normally stuck in my head thinking about a lot but simply being present with friends and having a good time is what makes me happy. In regards to what I do, drawing makes me happy. It’s my passion and if a day goes by without drawing in my sketchbooks, it just feels wrong. When I’m drawing I get to build worlds for myself or for others to see, I get to exaggerate my friends as characters or just feel that catharsis of letting out emotions, visually. In the end when I go through a thousand bad drawings to get to that good one, I feel pretty happy. Read more>>
