Meet Adriana Romero | Event Producer & Entrepreneur

We had the good fortune of connecting with Adriana Romero and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Adriana, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for them?
As a mother of three, I’ve intentionally built my businesses around my children’s lives, not the other way around. Being present for their everyday moments and life’s biggest milestones has always been my priority. I believe that showing them the value of family, hard work, and balance has had a lasting positive impact.

What should our readers know about your business?
My business journey is rooted in passion, persistence, and a deep love for creating meaningful experiences for families. I am the founder of SD Royalty Events, where I specialize in producing large-scale quinceañera and bridal expos, as well as coordinating and curating events that celebrate some of life’s most important milestones. I’m also co-owner of a San Diego Limo Boss, where I support marketing, operations, and day-to-day logistics alongside my partner and husband.
What sets my brand apart is that I don’t just “plan events”, I produce full experiences. From concept to execution, I am involved in every detail, whether it’s building vendor relationships, designing event flow, coordinating décor, or ensuring that each event feels intentional and memorable. I also bring a strong focus on community, collaboration, and authenticity. Many of the connections I’ve built over the years have turned into long-term relationships, not just transactions.
Getting here was not easy. Like most entrepreneurs, I faced challenges learning how to manage multiple roles, navigating financial risks, balancing family life, and figuring out how to scale a vision without losing quality or heart. There were moments of doubt and moments where I had to rebuild and rethink strategies, but I overcame those challenges through consistency, adaptability, and the support of my family and business partner, who believed in the vision even when it felt overwhelming.
One of the biggest lessons I’ve learned is that growth requires both patience and resilience. Success doesn’t happen overnight, and every event, every mistake, and every win has taught me something valuable about leadership, communication, and trust. I’ve also learned that staying true to your values is what builds longevity in business.
What I want the world to know about my brand is that everything we do is rooted in heart. My goal has always been to create experiences that bring families joy, pride, and lasting memories, while also showing that it is possible to be a hands-on mother, entrepreneur, and creative all at once. My story is still being written, but at its core, it’s about passion, partnership, and purpose.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
If my best friend came to visit me in San Diego for a week, I’d want to show them the best of San Diego & North County living with a mix of beach days, great food, wine country, culture, nightlife, and unforgettable views.
We’d definitely start in Coronado. There’s something timeless about it, walking along the beach near the iconic Hotel Del Coronado, grabbing coffee, and just taking in the ocean views is the perfect way to ease into the trip. It’s one of those places that always feels special no matter how many times you go.
From there, we’d head up the coast to Oceanside, which is one of my favorite coastal spots. We’d spend time at the beach, walk the pier, and visit the iconic Top Gun House just for the fun experience and photo moment. One of the highlights would definitely be sunset at the The Rooftop Bar at Mission Pacific Hotel, the views are incredible and it’s the perfect mix of relaxed and elevated.
For a more local cultural day, I’d take them to Chicano Park to experience the murals and history, it’s such an important and vibrant part of San Diego’s identity and always leaves a strong impression, plus the local culinary spots around their are amazing!
We’d also spend time in Del Mar, especially around the plaza area, where you get some of the most beautiful ocean views in North County. It’s perfect for a sunset dinner, relaxing drinks, and just enjoying the coastal atmosphere.
For a night out, I’d definitely include a stop at La Fayette Hotel because it has such a fun, stylish vibe and is perfect for a more elevated evening with good energy and music.
One of the things I love about living in San Diego is how many resort-style experiences we have nearby. We’d spend time at places like Sycuan Casino Resort, especially the pool and lazy river area, which feels like a mini getaway. We’d also visit Viejas Casino & Resort, which has great entertainment, shopping, and a fun atmosphere. And just north of us, Pechanga Resort Casino is another favorite, with amazing restaurants, bars, and a beautiful resort-style pool that makes it feel like a full weekend escape.
We’d also take a day trip into wine country because San Diego has some hidden gems. I love going out to the Temecula Valley Wine Country for a full wine-tasting experience, it feels like a getaway without being too far. Another favorite is Escondido, especially places like Orfila Vineyards and Winery, which has such a peaceful and beautiful setting.
Throughout the week, I’d keep everything flexible, mixing beach days, cultural spots, great food, sunset views, nightlife, and resort-style experiences. That’s what I love most about living here, you can create a week that feels both relaxing and unforgettable without ever having to rush it.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Without a doubt, my biggest shoutout goes to my husband, Hugo. He’s not only my life partner but also my business partner, and honestly, I wouldn’t be where I am today without him. He’s the one who encouraged me to take the leap into entrepreneurship and has believed in me every step of the way, even during the moments when I doubted myself.
Building businesses together hasn’t always been easy, but we’ve learned to lean on each other’s strengths. While I focus on producing events, marketing, and building relationships, he’s always there supporting the vision, solving problems, and reminding me why we started. Every success we’ve achieved has been a team effort.
I also want to recognize our family, especially our children, who inspire us every day to keep growing and building something meaningful. One of the greatest gifts entrepreneurship has given us is the ability to create a life where family comes first. Being able to work together while still being present for our children’s everyday moments and biggest milestones is something I never take for granted.
Entrepreneurship can feel lonely at times, but having a partner who believes in your dreams as much as you do makes all the difference. This journey is ours, and I’m incredibly grateful to be building it alongside him.
