What makes FireSnake Fitness stand out is that we are the first in San Diego to utilize innovative whole-body EMS medical technology for exercise, recovery, and rehabilitation. It’s incredibly fulfilling to witness how this technology has transformed the lives of people of all ages and abilities. Whether it’s helping an elite athlete push their performance to new heights, supporting someone recovering from a stroke, or strengthening the body of a wheelchair-bound client, this technology offers remarkable results. Seeing these transformations is a constant reminder of why we do what we do. Read more>>

My initial goal with Ladies Golf Too was to create a space to learn golf with like-minded women and create opportunities for inner-city girls to have early exposure to the game of golf. That was it. Since then, I’ve learned our community has provided a safe space for women to truly decompress from the stresses of life for 2-3 hours, where they’re able to leave it all on the green. I’ve had women share how much they needed our community in some of the darkest moments, and to me, that’s impact. When you create something bigger than yourself and your goal. Ladies Golf Too helps the community by fostering an environment for women to gain clarity, enjoy nature, and build new connections. Our ladies leave our clinics and socials rejuvenated and ready to conquer the world. Read more>>

One of our favorite parts about owning a business with custom engraving is that we can personalize just about anything. This has been such a benefit to the community as we’ve helped local businesses promote their brands, family members create one-of-a-kind keepsakes, and other special projects our customers bring to us. They always have the best ideas, and we’re happy to make them a reality. Read more>>

The goal of Seanta Clause & Friends, which is a non-profit, is to help those in need during the holidays. It doesn’t matter if it is a family or just one person. It could be for many different reasons. Maybe they are just all alone. Maybe they don’t have money for gifts. Maybe they don’t have money for a Christmas dinner. We try to help as best as we can to cover all of those bases. We have a breakfast fundraiser we do every year. That money goes to help the families in need. Each family receives a full Christmas dinner with sparkling cider, pie, an outfit and gift for each child. If we have enough we will get them a gift card or something they may need. The amount of families we help each year varies on how much we raise at the breakfast with Seanta. We also do the “Where’s Seanta ” contest every year on weekends between Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am certain that local actions can lead to global results, which is why an important part of my work as an artist begins with my community: San Diego, California, and Tijuana, Mexico, with the border town of San Ysidro at its core. My project “Imperfect Boundaries” – shown at PHES Gallery in 2022 and SAN Int’l. Airport in 2023 – explores the edges between these two cities and relates them to the boundaries within the self. More recently, my project “46 Renacimientos” – shown at Plaza del Mar in 2023 and BLK Box Gallery in 2024 – tells a more specific story of my community. In this project, I create sculptures to better understand and explain the COCOTREN phenomenon along our Pacific coastline. Read more>>
