We had the good fortune of connecting with Leslie Marie Moseley and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Leslie Marie, how does your business help the community?
My initial goal with Ladies Golf Too was to create a space to learn golf with like-minded women and create opportunities for inner-city girls to have early exposure to the game of golf. That was it. Since then, I’ve learned our community has provided a safe space for women to truly decompress from the stresses of life for 2-3 hours, where they’re able to leave it all on the green. I’ve had women share how much they needed our community in some of the darkest moments, and to me, that’s impact. When you create something bigger than yourself and your goal. Ladies Golf Too helps the community by fostering an environment for women to gain clarity, enjoy nature, and build new connections. Our ladies leave our clinics and socials rejuvenated and ready to conquer the world.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
So, I’m a TV Host and Real Estate Professional who founded an amazing women’s golf community. As a host on the National Emmy Nominated television show, the American Dream: Selling Richmond, I highlight why people should live, work, and play in my city. This exposure supports small businesses and encourages viewers to get inspired by the culture of Richmond. As a real estate professional, my team and I assist people in one of the largest purchases of their lifetime. We help them realize their property buying, selling, and investment goals.

We all face challenges. Some days, there will be areas of opportunity. We just have to hold tight to our faith and know all things are working for our greatest good. Some would say your “why.” However, it takes a stronger anchor when your goals and dreams are outlandish.

I’ve learned the moment you take one step, the next will be revealed to you. God does this thing where He sends the next person, the next move, the next deal you need to get to your next level. The rule, though, is you have to complete the step prior, or the next will not be revealed to you.

I want people to know my brand is much bigger than real estate, golf, or TV. I’m multifaceted, and I embrace that gift. The ultimate goal is to help others achieve their goals and leave a lasting mark.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Oh wow. This is a great question and one of the cool things about my TV show. I highlight why people should live work and play in and around Richmond, Virginia.

Day 1
It’s all about settling in. My best friend is checking into Quirk Hotel and I’ll meet them for cocktails in the lobby, then dinner at Bar Solita since it’s a block over and delicious.

Day 2
Richmond is such a historic town, so we’re visiting the museums. We’d start the day with breakfast just across town at Eat 66. We’ll then go to the Science Museum and end at the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts. For dinner, we’ll have Julep’s or Lillie Pearl.

Day 3
We’re walking off some of the food we’ve had the past two days. So, it is the perfect excuse to head out to Short Pump Center for outdoor shopping. Perry’s Steakhouse is on the menu for dinner. I can taste the porkchop bites as we’re having this conversation.

Day 4
This is a relaxing day. We’ve been on the go. So, we’ll visit a spa for pampering and lunch.

Day 5
By now, we’ll either head north for a day trip to DC or head east for a nice beach day. That’s the beauty of Richmond. There’s a quick day trip destination at every turn.

Day 6
I think it’s time for bestie to go home now. We didn’t make it to day 7. Ha!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d like to shout out my mother for being my absolute biggest supporter. My daughter for inspiring me every single day. Lastly, the Forward Foundation for the impact we are making in the lives of working single parents in Richmond, Virginia.
