We had the good fortune of connecting with RealXman and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi RealXman, can you talk to us a bit about the social impact of your business?
As a Queer POC I grew up in a world that lacked representation for both. This has inspired my craft and has helped me to create from a place that is inclusive to my community and informative to those who are not.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
Hailing from the outskirts of Washington D.C. and now lighting up San Diego, RealXman is the fresh and electrifying force in LGBTQ music. Renowned for his infectious lyrics, daring style, bold fashion choices, and iconic pink hair, he’s capturing hearts and minds across the board. RealXman’s diverse talents infuse his music with a unique flair, turning each track into an unforgettable ‘Xperience.’ From being only artist on stilts to his inclusive message X is a true visionary crafting art that joyously celebrates the girls, gays, thems, and theys, consistently pushing the boundaries of the music scene. Currently he’s working to release his first EP “Technocally Speaking” at the beginning of December.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I’d see what there were in a the mood for and them take them straight to Hillcrest, as I know it’s one of one. From bars, restaurants to entertainment Hillcrest is the place to be.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My short response is, all glory goes up. To elaborate I am beyond grateful for the many blessings that have gotten me here. But there’s a group of people who come to mind when it comes to gratitude, my producers and engineers. Cam Taylor, Ethan Capps, Dielog, Kristoff Jones and Gian. These men all identify as straight and have been all individually monumental in my creative process. From the encouragement, to the inspiration, to making a safe environment where I can speak honestly about queer culture these talented artists are a truly a blessing in my life.
