We had the good fortune of connecting with Brianna Dunlap and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi brianna, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I wanted to start my own business to have more time with my two year old daughter and to be able to make my own schedule.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
Ceremony Coffee is a mobile espresso bar that is ran solely by me. I cater to people looking to elevate their events with adding high quality specialty lattes to their event. I use the industries leading espresso machine equipment and have years of experience with hospitality. It hasn’t been easy but I am passionate about coffee and community and plan to do this long term and to open a brick and mortar one day. I would like people to know that they can really make a lasting impression with choosing a mobile espresso bar for their events and alcohol isn’t the only thing that needs to be at a wedding etc.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take them to visit all the coffee options available to us on the coast 101 hwy and to moonlight beach so that our kids could play and then to plumeria for a great vegetarian Thai dinner.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I want to shout out my partner for supporting and encouraging me to take the steps to put time into launching my own business. It can be very scary, but knowing I have that support was so helpful.
