Meet kristopher garcia | Photography

We had the good fortune of connecting with kristopher garcia and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi kristopher, what’s the end goal, career-wise?
I want to be in a place where my hobbies can help subsidize for my living. Id love to be in a position where my passion for photography can bring in some income in addition to my career. More than making money, i want to be recognized for creating unique and moving work. Ultimately the goal is to have both recognition and some monetary gain.
Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I strive and struggle to be myself. I don’t want to compromise myself or my art for likes on social media. This makes it harder to get foot in any particular niche but i have faith in myself to continue to be successful in my ventures.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I would take them to every neighborhood in San Diego to show them the great coffee, music and food scene that we have. We would catch a Padres game to end the day.
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
There is family owned and operated climbing facilities opening in Vista. The family has been in climbing for years and have a bast amount of knowledge. Im excited to see what they do with their new facility. Its called Flux Training Center and the Unit family are the ones behind it all.
