I was attracted to photography and video from a young age. Being able to capture moments with my friends when we were younger felt like a pretty cool way to document our youth and be able to look back at those moments as we grew older. I have always been artistic and creative since I was a young girl. Since I have retired my creative juices have been able to flow so much easier. I thought when I had more time on my hands I would take up painting again, but the photography which I have always loved to do peaked my interest more. Most of my creativity has been in the form of the photographs I take of my dogs for Instagram and Facebook. I love to experiment with lighting and set designs. I decided to pursue a career in acting because I felt like it was a calling to me. Growing up, I’ve always leaned towards having creative hobbies such as playing with Legos, sketching, and writing. When I found my passion for the world of filmmaking and acting, I knew right away that this was the career path that I wanted. I love that is creatively challenging; that I really dig deep and think outside of the box to bring my characters to life. Being an actor has not only taught me a lot about myself, but learning about the characters I play has really broadened my perception and helped me understand people and their behaviors as well.
