I want my pizza to be a part of people’s cherished memories, where the taste becomes forever linked to their special moments. When I think about life’s best moments, food is almost always part of them. The most difficult decision was to leave the comfort & safety of my 25-year government career for the private sector. The longer you stay, the more you feel the golden handcuff ie. retirement, benefits, security, familiarly, etc. All are wonderful things to have at some point but you will never be free if you don’t take that jump or at least lean into a new direction. The most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make was during the COVID pandemic when my grandmother’s health began to decline. As an international worker in the U.S., my visa status and travel restrictions made it almost impossible to go back to Taiwan without facing lengthy re-entry issues.
