What are you inspired by?

One of our favorite things to do is to ask the folks we are inspired by what they are inspired by. We’ve shared some of their responses below.
I feel inspired by asking the question, “why” before I do things, take on beliefs or listen to someone’s advice. 95% of what we do is happening at the unconscious/subconscious level, so asking the simple question of “why” I respond, act & live my life the way I do is an easy way to bring to light what is running out of my awareness. Of course Chicago’s “You’re the inspiration” begins to play as I write. Inspiration for me arrives when it wants at any moment. Nothing gets my synapsis firing like life, itself. I see, I smell, I taste, I hear, I feel, I love! When you consume the energy of life the inspiration will drive you to new heights. When you live in the moment the emulation will reflect pure. I find inspiration in a variety of people and things. But I would say the people that inspire me the most is my family. The way that they are my support system for everything has the biggest impact on my life and has shaped me into the person I am today. I can’t even think about a time I’ve went through something in my life and they weren’t right there. They’ve given me the best advice when needed but also have held me accountable. They continuously motivate me to follow my dreams no matter what. They’ve taught me to never quit even when times get hard. Read more>>
My art is inspired by connection: connection to others, to Earth, to my own identity and to the history of my ancestors. I often incorporate humor into my work because I think laughter is a great way to bring people together. I am inspired by the commitment to be of service to others. How does someone who has been a CPA in the business world for over 30 years end up being a shaman (a.k.a. an Energy Medicine Restoration Practitioner)?
The truth is, I’ve been working energetically with people all my life! So have you. Everything and everyone engages on an energetic level, and your energetic vibration (the energy you either consciously or unconsciously communicate) will dictate your physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
