Our Linked Prosperity: how local businesses are helping their communities


Most of the media often paints all businesses with a single stroke, but in our experience businesses are each unique and so many of them are focused on making the world a better place. We’ve highlighted a few such gems below.

I believe in giving back to my community. I serve as a volunteer photographer for The Gold Hope Project, a national organization which gifts free portrait sessions to pediatric cancer patients. I also serve as resident photographer for Canyonside Equestrian Center, a non-profit organization using the power of equestrian experiences to inspire, educate, and connect people of all backgrounds. I want my photos (underwater photography especially) to serve as a storytelling platform. In the past few years, I have contributed images to magazines, science apps, wildlife tracking platforms, and news outlets. Theatricum Botanicum is an outdoor theatre and educational nonprofit organization that benefits all ages in Topanga, the greater L.A. area, and beyond. Our summer repertory theatre is at the core, taking place every summer from June through October with five plays running in rotation.
