We had the good fortune of connecting with Zairre Wright and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Zairre, what led you to pursuing a creative path professionally?
I believe being creative keeps you alive and more alert. Being in the creative mindset makes you notice things that many people overlook. I didn’t want to be bored everyday with the same routines so with art it is a lot easier to keep yourself entertained.
Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I got to where I am today from bringing my camera absolutely everywhere I go. Trying my hardest to not miss a moment just because I didn’t have a camera near by. There’s a lot of ups and downs with any art form especially finding motivation or getting stuck in a creative rut but staying consistent is usually what keeps the focus there.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Well since I’m a skateboarder and vegan we’d forsure hit food at plant power poods skatepark beers at modern times city heights skatepark I’d prolly go to La Jolla and hit sunset Madison on park for cocktails Maybe alittle kayaking in Del Mar at the lagoon Kimball skatepark Show them balboa park Coffee forsure at influx or dark horse
