We had the good fortune of connecting with Viviana Sanchez and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Viviana, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
First and foremost, I would like to thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your community; I appreciate the people around me that share the same interests and grow our networks together.
It felt organic in a way, since all the information we share with our community is about our everyday lives and common interests related to health and wellness.
What I felt was punctually necessary, was to integrate information from our mental, emotional and physical states of being. You can’t be overall healthy if you exclude any of these three factors.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
I heard once someone say: “Find a job you enjoy doing, and you will never have to work a day in your life.”; Well this is it for me; I’ve always been eager to learn, investigate, ask the questions (even the uncomfortable ones), so being able to share what I learn and what I value in my everyday quality of life, and receive a positive feedback on how this information also helps others, fills my heart with gratitude.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Ooof! I’m in love with my city! Our weather is the nicest out there; you can never be too hot nor too cold.
Our days would definitely start early, enjoy some walks by the ocean in Coronado, or take them/they for a hike to Hiden Forest, also Torrey Pines, to finish uphill with a lovely breakfast with an espectacular view at the Lodge at Torrey Pines.
I love art, so we would visit the Museum of Contemporary Art’s new La Jolla location, with a lunch right after at George’s at the Cove Terrace, which has the best ocean view. Himitsu for an early sushi dinner.
My tours will always involve a workout or two, you can’t say you’ve visited San Diego without going through the active scene. I’m currently obsessed with Yoga Box, they have the best teachers. Being an Energy Medicine Practitioner myself, I also start my mornings with a method I developed to connect with my body, mind and spirit through movement and technique.
Social and family dinners are my favorite! And these are my fave spots lately:
-Callie (that rotisserie chicken!)
-Cesarina (the funghi pasta is to die for)
-Monarch for killing sunset vibes
-Coco Maya has the best music
Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
Oh for sure! I feel very thankful and appreciate the support from all my fellowship health and wellness colleagues, mentors and specialists whom have kindly collaborated with us to share their knowledge, experience and such valuable information throughout the years,
