We had the good fortune of connecting with Trentin Cady and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Trentin, what do you attribute your success to?
I would say the most important part of my success and brand would be the consistency of hard work day in and day out. Utilizing platforms such as Instagram, LinkedIn, Facebook, Google Business, YouTube and more has really allowed me to organically reach a ton of buyer and sellers in San Diego and lets them see my body of work. I can include past sales, reviews, market updates, and daily updates that gives my sphere of influence confidence that I am the market expert and they can trust me to help them get the best deal. In addition, I think teaming up with my business partner and father, Mike Cady, has allowed us to create a dynamic old school/new school team that is truly unbeatable. You get the long time experience and knowledge of a 30 year real estate veteran combined with a millenial mindset of social media, new ideas, and a deep background in mortgage loans to help educate new and seasoned buyers. Together we are able to move quicker than single agents and you don’t get passed around to other agents with us. We both actively work on every deal together and have a passion for real estate in San Diego that many people here relate to. We look forward to the opportunity to serve and provide value to as many people as possible on a daily basis!

What should our readers know about your business?
I think there are many factors that set me apart from others in this crowded industry of real estate sales starting with my knowledge of the area being born and raised here. I know the ins and outs of each pocket of town, the good places to eat, the gyms, the best surf breaks, and more. In addition to that we run a large property management company that really allows us to provide extreme value to our current owners and put together a lot of off market deals for our buyers by knowing what properties are coming for sale and when. My first few years out of college were dedicated to mastering the mortgage process which has allowed me to provide tons of value to my buyers and help them strategize on the best loan programs to take advantage of. Over the course of consistently learning how to provide the most value to my friends and family buying and selling real estate there were also a lot of hurdles. Being young in the real estate sales industry is no easy task. I have to prove day in and day out that I not only know just as much as all the seasoned veterans, but am willing to work harder to provide as much value as possible to every person I meet in San Diego. My goal is to create raving fans that have had such a great experience with me that they want to tell their friends and family that there is no one else they should be working with! Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I would take my friends to the beach in Del Mar to teach them to surf and hang on the sand. After that I would take them for a legendary board and brew sandwich followed by a trip up the coast to Carlsbad. I think its such a cool drive and there are so many unique spots to stop at and admire. At night I would take them to Little Italy to experience the great restaurants and environment down there followed by a night out in downtown San Diego.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I would like to give a major shout out to my friends and family that have supported my journey in the San Diego Real Estate Market up to this point. The majority of my business has come from my sphere of influence in SD. Growing up in the area has allowed me to maintain and make so many new relationships that I deeply cherish. My friends give me consistent referrals and support me in every way possible which really allows me to reach and help more people. My family is also extremely supportive and being able to work with them on a daily basis is truly a blessing.
