We had the good fortune of connecting with Thea Tochihara and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Thea, is there something you can share with us that those outside of the industry might not be aware of?
No matter how much you see behind the curtain, it is still so magical

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
There is so much magic in music. There’s also a load ton of hard work, diligence, dedication, and discipline that goes into getting anywhere in this business. I’m hoping to keep learning, taking steps, and meeting the wonderful people (and sometimes challenging people) this business has led me to. The main surprise thus far for me though? No matter how much I learn or struggle or break apart into formulated steps, it does not take away from the magic. There is still so much unexplainable magic that happens when you are on a stage, connecting to others through songs you write

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Desert, beach, and ski in one day

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My band mates. My husband. My family. My friends. Thus far, that has been the team behind me, beside me, in front of and around me that has gone into where my musical career is.
