We had the good fortune of connecting with Stephan Groce and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Stephan, as a parent, what do you feel is the most meaningful thing you’ve done for your children?
I’m a parent, husband, politician, and entrepreneur all wrapped up in one. For me the most important thing I’ve done to impact my children is to include them into everything I do. As a Father, I often ask for their input into the day’s agenda, meals, discipline, and decisions that I may be faced with. I feel that they have a unique perspective that only kids can have relative to adult decisions. In my husband role I believe that showing respect and my interaction with my wife, their mother, sets the example of how they should treat their significant other and just as importantly how they should want to be treated. As a politician I feel that it is my duty and obligation to allow them to participate in government, public and civic duties. Although they are 4, 8 and 10 years old, having them actively participate in discussions allows them to feel valued and empowered. Lastly, as an entrepreneur I’ve built my business and brands around and for my children. LEGACY Parenting Survival Wear was inspired by my first born. Being a first time parent, I had no idea what to expect or how I was going feel about adding the responsibility of another life. The impact that its had on my children is one of responsibility and ownership. They’ve learned the value of hard work, perseverance, and that integrity means everything.

What should our readers know about your business?
After launching two successful brands and an ecommerce site in 20013 and 2018, I felt that it was time to explore my philanthropic spirit. It was then that a project that I engaged in in 2018 finally came to life in February of 2019. Dan Anderson the Founder, Creator and CEO of iSwirl Technologies the home of The Gratitude Rewards Solution happen to intersect with me the same day and time from across the world that we both experienced a breakthrough in our business development cultivation. Dan was in the Philippines when he called me here in San Diego. The interesting thing was the timing. He had just finished a meeting and I had just been called last minute to attend a meeting with a well known elected official. Dan’s news was great and my prospect was exciting with high potential and upside. The challenge that we faced during that time is the willingness for the listener to see how our TiGRS technology can help shift the economy in the way we knew it in 2019. Over the course of 2019, we met with organizations that understood that vision could be reality with minimal risk,. Fast forward to 2020, our challenge is the number of retail stores, restaurants, and businesses that don’t know how to shift into a digital marketing strategy that allows them to pay for their advertising post sale versus the traditional pre-pay approach that advertising has been built upon. The lesson that’s been learned thus far is that not everyone understands how they can be part of shifting the economy. Additionally, I’ve learned that business owner and decision-makers will inherently look for the quickest exist out of the opportunity simply because the potential is mind numbing or that someone is already doing it and they’ve “heard this all before.” The real truth is that they haven’t and they won’t again from anyone else. What I’d like to world to know about The Gratitude Rewards Solution is that it is the all inclusive and real “share” economy stimulator. Currently in our society we share our homes, cars, food, and rides but not our money, thus our economy. Here is the TiGRS program in it’s swirl of activity: Sell, Give, Receive, Repeat The program begins with a sale: the retailer pays for their marketing only after a sale has been completed with them. The retailer decides how much cash back they want to give the customer. The customer determines the charity of their choice to receive a donation from the retailer. The retailer will receive loyal customers, digital advertising, and royalties Then we repeat the process by continuing to say Thank You to the customer on a daily basis and reward them with cash back and a donation on theirs and the retailers behalf to the charity of the customer’s choice. This creates a win-win-win strategy for the retailer, customer and charity or non-profit There currently is not a technology or software with the wraparound service that The Gratitude Rewards Solution provides everyone who shops regardless of the socio-economic status or accessibility to the market.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
There is a group of individuals who have joined together over the past two years that have truly helped to change my life and the lives of others. As a founding and leading member of this group, I know that it is do to these individuals that I work hard and perform at the peak of my abilities. The TiGRS team. TiGRS is an acronym for The Gratitude Rewards Solution. The group is a team comprised of masterminds, visionaries, alchemists, and unselfish people. People like Dan Anderson who is the founder and creator of The Gratitude Rewards Solution software. He created it in an effort to generate enough funding to help eradicate malaria across the globe. Josh and Vanessa Fryer, who help shape the vision of TiGRS and it’s deployment. Adria Fox-Williams who is a visionary of our time who can see what others fail to see. The opportunities that present themselves are often overlooked by many of us, but she often recognizes it and shares with me for strategic planning. Along side of her is Mailon Rivera. A true alchemist who understands that actions, reaction, and more action on behalf of others is what is needed for our society to progress. The TiGRS team is further complimented by several personal influencers who directly advise me in all areas of my life. William “Bill” Ponder is not only a friend, advisor, and business partner, but he is my mentor. Bill helps me to see different perspectives and to think differently using the past, present and future elements to what I’m facing. Then there’s William “Kuya” Peetoom. He’s a brother from another mother and a true entrepreneur in his own right. Kuya helps me to stay organized and focused on meaningful actions. His friendship and partnership mean more to me than I can share with you. Lastly, I’ve been fortunate to be able to invite two very close associates that I was able to bring onto the team. Dan Kober and Dave Tanaka. Both of these associates are not only friends, but tactical executors that no team should be without. They didn’t know one another prior to 2019 when I invited them both to join the TiGRS team. Individually they both have known me for years and have always supported the decisions and directions that I’ve taken in direct projects, businesses, and teams that I’ve been fortunate to lead. Additionally, my wife Angela Laurita for allowing me and affording me the opportunity to do what I do. My shoutout goes to the TiGRS team of Dan Anderson, Josh & Vanessa Fryer, Adria Fox-Williams, Mailon Rivera, Bill Ponder, Kuya ill Peetoom, Dan Kober, and Dave Tanaka.
