We had the good fortune of connecting with SaCha Brackins, JD. and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi SaCha, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
We work very closely with the community to help individuals and their families build a legacy. Often times a legacy that is what they thought was possible. The pillars of B.Creative are Creativity, Freedom, and Legacy. We help to change the lives of the individuals in our community and make a difference in the generations to come.
Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Business specialists tend to focus exclusively on growth and Scale. While growth is extremely important, most entrepreneurs never get that far. It is known that over a quarter of businesses fail within two years, and even more NEVER START! While minority businesses are growing at a rapid pace, it is still an unfortunate truth that black and brown as well as woman entrepreneurs face more challenges when starting a new business. First-generation entrepreneurs face more discrepancies in funding, a greater lack of support, and limited resources. It is hard enough to get a business off of the ground, let alone make it past the two-year threshold. That’s where we come in! We work with entrepreneurs and creatives to develop their amazing ideas into income-generating businesses that are prepared to scale. We cut out the “busy work” and implement a solid and strategic plan for long term success. We dig deep and focus on our client’s long term goals so that every step taken is with their purpose and vision in mind. Entrepreneurship is not for everyone, however, it is our belief that everyone has talents, skills, and unique abilities that when challenged properly can change the trajectory of their families’ lives forever. Our winning formula is focused on developing in our clients the tools necessary to be successful in their business.
If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
San Diego is an amazing city with incredible people, and so much too see and enjoy! My weekend couldn’t start without brunch at Snooze in Hillcrest, after a few Mmm Mmm Mimosa’s and Shrimp & Grits, we would head straight over to mission bay to enjoy the beach. When we finished up sunbathing and splashing in the ocean we would pay Stephanie J a visit to get facials. Following our much-needed R&R, we would head down to gaslamp’s Sugar Factory to watch a movie and indulge our sweet tooth. For Dinner, we would drop in at Louisiana Purchase to see what chef Quinton had on the menu to tantalizing our taste buds. The next stop would be The Owl downtown to have a nightcap and enjoy some tunes. The Following morning with Sun Dresses and big shades in tote, we would head over to Great Maple for Breakfast old fashioned’s and bacon maple donuts (minus the bacon for me :() In the afternoon we would head to Little Italy with our fingers crossed for a farmers market, after supporting the local shops we would bounce over to Davanti Enoteca to enjoy the Focaccia Di Recco, with fresh honeycomb. After leaving Little Italy we would find out where The Write Juice Smoothie Truck is and head over to a grab a year of the glow up smoothie or a Nina Simone ( activated Charcoal lemonade). With our belly’s full and hearts happy we would spend the rest of the day by the pool enjoying the best weather in the world!
The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I am so grateful to my talented, ambitious, and incredibly dope clients. Having the privilege to work closely with such amazing people. Helping them to build their dreams and seeing the positive impact that the work has on their lives, businesses and families is more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. Fueling their dreams also fuels mine. I am honored to be inspired every day. Having a business rooted in purpose, and doing what I love is only possible because of my incredible clients. I am thankful, humbled, and honored to serve you!
