We had the good fortune of connecting with Saba Valiahdi and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Saba, can you share a quote or affirmation with us?
“One day or Day one? You decide.”
This quote resonates deeply with me because it highlights the power of choice and action. To me, it serves as a reminder that every moment presents an opportunity to pursue your goals and dreams—there’s no perfect time to start.
Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
Growing up in a family of entrepreneurs and being immersed in our family business from a young age profoundly shaped my professional life. Running your own business is tough, but incredibly rewarding. The daily grind—the commitment to get up every day and hustle, no matter what challenges come your way—is part of the entrepreneurial spirit. There’s no one else to lean on or pass the responsibility to; your success is a direct result of your hard work.
That drive fuels my involvement in multiple ventures. I manage my family’s Car Dealership, Miramar Sport Cars in San Diego, actively work as a Real Estate Agent at Douglas Elliman, and run my own business, A2Z Live Scan Fingerprint Notary, where I provide Certified Live Scan and Notary Public services. On top of that, I create content as a Social Media Influencer. For me, it’s not about juggling too much—if you’re passionate, you can make it all work. That passion fuels a constant desire to grow, and it’s what keeps me excited about each opportunity.
Along the way, I’ve learned that perseverance is key. The challenges are never easy, but each obstacle has taught me to adapt, stay focused, and never lose sight of my goals.
Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
Wow, this is a tough one because I’ve grown up in San Diego and truly believe it’s one of the best cities out there—every area has its own unique charm. Since I love the beach, I naturally gravitate toward the coastal communities. For a week-long trip, I’d definitely take my friends to explore La Jolla, Del Mar, and Coronado—each offers beautiful views and a laid-back atmosphere perfect for visitors.
One of my favorite activities is catching a Padres game at Petco Park; the energy is unbeatable, and it’s a quintessential San Diego experience. When it comes to food and drink, the options are endless, but one of the luxuries of living here is enjoying rooftop bars and restaurants year-round, thanks to the amazing weather. Some of my go-to spots include The Nolen, Mister A’s, Seneca, Coco Maya, Monarch, Born and Raised, and Topsail. Each offers something a little different, from craft cocktails to breathtaking skyline or ocean views.
For a touch of luxury, I’d treat my guests to some of San Diego’s top resorts like The Grand Del Mar, Rancho Valencia Resort & Spa, Hotel Del Coronado, La Valencia Hotel, and L’Auberge Del Mar. Whether it’s indulging in world-class dining, a relaxing spa day, or just lounging by the pool, these places never disappoint and offer a truly elevated experience.
Finally, no trip to San Diego is complete without a hike at Torrey Pines. The views are breathtaking, and it’s the perfect way to end an incredible week in my favorite city.
Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I would dedicate my shoutout to my family, with a special acknowledgment to my mom. She has always been my biggest supporter and constant source of motivation. Her incredible work ethic and unwavering belief in me, pushes me to be the best version of myself. She consistently reminds me that it’s never too late to pursue my dreams and that I am capable of achieving anything I set my mind to.
