We had the good fortune of connecting with Saadiq Amir and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Saadiq, what matters most to you?
What matters most to me in my life is leadership. Having the ability to impact others in a positive way through leading by example is something that I take much pride in.

Can you give our readers an introduction to your business? Maybe you can share a bit about what you do and what sets you apart from others?
My business is Fitness training and INSHAPE LA. My task within my business is to change as many lives as I can physically and assisting others to reach their fitness goals.

I believe what sets me apart from others is my work ethic and my ability to not give up when I am placed in the toughest of situations. I am most excited to see how far I’ve come already within my career and to see how how much higher my ceiling is currently.

I got to where I am today by taking a big risk on moving across the country to pursue my fitness dreams here in Los Angeles. Taking that risk was extremely hard for me financially, but after awhile doors started to open for me and God was on my side in many instances. I learned within that jump to never stop pursuing what you are passionate about no matter the circumstances.

One thing I would want the world to know about me and my business is that you are always going to get the best quality and effort.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
My favorite spots in the LA area are Runyon canyon hiking trail for some cardio. If I were going somewhere to eat for a nice dinner with a ambiance, I would go to Javier’s for enchiladas. As far as a good time partying that’s not too excessive, I would finish off at a nice bar, maybe American junkie in hermosa beach.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Some who I’d like to give a shout out to for where I am today is my mother. She made sure I was raised to always have my intentions pure for everything that I take on in life. She is who I get my drive from.
