Hi Robert, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Blanke Schein Wealth Management wouldn’t be where it is today without our firm’s commitment to a system of values. Blanke Schein Wealth Management started out as a family-run business when my father-in-law, Rick Blanke Sr., and I founded the business together. Our core belief was that our business should reflect the values that are important to our own family, and we’ve always made it a point to extend those values to our clients. Our success is a result of our belief that clients come first, and is founded on the principles of dedication, integrity, transparency, and a commitment to building client relationships. Since then, my brother-in-law, Rick Blanke Jr., has also joined the family business. We can’t wait to provide our services to the next generation of clients and continue to help local families build wealth and create a lasting legacy for their family!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
Blanke Schein Wealth Management prides itself on its commitment to client service and providing the best retirement experience for retirees in the Coachella Valley. We specialize in providing family office services, estate planning, and senior care planning. Our business’s success is due in large part to building and cultivating a reputation of excellence in financial services. At the end of day, our team at Blanke Schein Wealth Management believes we offer an unparalleled retirement experience for those who live in our area. Beyond that, our firm also specializes and focuses on financial education. Our team consistently is releasing YouTube videos, whitepapers, and soon, a podcast, that all aim to demystify investing and ultimately help our clients, friends, and family members make smarter financial decisions for themselves.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
Anyone who’s visited my family and me before will know how hard it is to choose just one activity to do! There are so many fun and exciting things to do out here. From the Palm Springs Air Museum, to the Tram, to The Living Desert, the Coachella Valley is a world-class destination! But overall, I’d want to combine a good mix of the desert’s best tourist attractions with some restaurants and scenery that locals love. The first morning would start with an early morning sunrise hike at the Bump and Grind. My family and I love staying active, and we’re fortunate to live an area that has such breathtaking views. A hike would be the perfect way to start the day, and the views from the top are worth it! Later, we’d head to lunch at Fresh Agave on El Paseo, one of the best Mexican restaurants in town. They have some of the best tacos I’ve head, and they also know how to make a mean margarita. After some food and drinks, we’d all relax poolside for the remainder of the afternoon and head back to El Paseo for dinner later in the evening, guest’s choice! On the next day, we’d hit the links in the morning at my golf club, Toscana Country Club. Spending the day working up on appetite, we’d head to LG’s Steakhouse for some of the best prime rib and steak the desert has to offer. And of course, we’d have to end the night with a quick trip to The Nest for some drinks and dancing! After a jampacked few days, the last day would be centered around rest and relaxation. Taking it slow, we could enjoy the beautiful weather and warm sun with a locally brewed cup of coffee from IW Coffee in Indian Wells. Poolside for the rest day, we’d spend the day with a book in handing enjoying some classic R&R.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
I’d be remiss if I didn’t take this moment to give credit to my wonderful family for all their love and support over all these years! My wife Jennica and my four kids—Taylor, Brooke, Ashleigh, and Jack—have provided me with the strength and support to grow Blanke Schein Wealth Management into the premier wealth management firm it is today.
