We had the good fortune of connecting with Rafael Thomopoulos The Lamboartist and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Rafael Thomopoulos, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
I don’t see it as a business I see it more like a hobby. My main focus is to create art that people like. I want to make people draw and focus more on their hobbies, in a technology focused generation, where people just scroll social media. My though process before I started drawing and posting it on social media was to leave my mark on the supercar community, and to get to know my idols personally.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
Today I do art for people of the supercar community and some just for my few fans that I have. I remember my self drawing since I was 4. I remember people telling me I was good at it, so I never stopped doing it. I never stopped progressing. I remember times I didn’t feel like doing it because I didn’t successfully draw something. Nowadays I’m always open for a challenge. Always ready to do anything my clients want. One big lesson I learned is, that success is guaranteed unless you give up. So never give up.

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
My parents were supportive all the time to me. And never stopped congratulating me for my successes
