We had the good fortune of connecting with Pavel Kanstantsinau and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Pavel, can you walk us through the thought-process of starting your business?
As a tattoo artist, my thought process behind starting my own business was driven by a few factors. Firstly, I wanted the freedom to express my creativity and artistic skills in my own unique way. Having my own business allows me to have full control over the designs I create and the style I want to specialize in.

Finally, starting my own business gives me the opportunity to build a brand and establish a reputation in the tattoo industry. It allows me to showcase my portfolio, participate in conventions and art shows, and collaborate with other artists. By having my own business, I can continuously grow and evolve as an artist and establish myself as a trusted and respected professional in the tattoo community.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I’ve been tattooing for 7 years now. Already in the first year of work, I realized that I wanted to work with portraits and realistic images. That’s why I completely delved into my style. my style is black and gray realism. detailed design, large scale in one session – this is what I try to distinguish myself from others. The path to tattooing is always very difficult. For me it was endless nights of drawing, many training courses from body anatomy to promoting myself on social media. but tattooing gave me the opportunity to travel, meet new people in my industry and most importantly help people express themselves. This is what gives me the strength not to give up and move forward.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
I’ve only been in Los Angeles for a year and have devoted all my time to work. I’m not a fan of noisy parties. the best option for me is camping far outside the city.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
there are so many people whose love and support have helped me and inspire me. first of all it is my family. My wife and my parents have always believed in me. the first shop “Black and White Tattoo”where I worked and took my first steps in tattooing. In Los Angeles, I met wonderful people from Art collector Tattoo, who told me how the tattoo industry works in America and taught me everything I know.
