We had the good fortune of connecting with Patty Reyes and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Patty, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
Around 2004 I was working two jobs and taking care of my daughter. I was tired of having such strict schedules and not seeing anything come out of it. In 2005 I decided to get my real estate license and turn this into my full time job which gave me a great sense of accomplishment and I was now able to focus on what was more important to me while not having a cap on what I could make. I have built a business where I can spend time with my family while helping other families find their dream homes.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I really love my job and going the extra mile for my clients. I have never been the agent that says no due to a small commission or if the property is hours away. My goal is to help my clients find their home to best fit their needs no matter what! I want to help my clients reach financial freedom through real estate and I want to show the world it isnt as hard as it seems when you have the right agent by your side!

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
San Diego has so much to offer! We have such a diverse city everything from beach to mountains. As someone that loves homes I would take them to historic properties and landmark such as Balboa Park, La Jolla, Julian or Old Town. All these beautiful locations have so many places to eat, shop or just get a quick coffee while enjoying the beauty of San Diego, you will never be disappointed!

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to thank Sara Jackson who helped me the most in my career, she always was there to help and was a true blessing and support in my life.
