Meet Paris Williams-Suber | Founder of Paris Cares Foundation

We had the good fortune of connecting with Paris Williams-Suber and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Paris, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
When I was in kindergarten, my teacher read me a book called One Boys Magic. This book inspired me to help others in need. I found my superpower in helping others in need. I started with 35 care packages with encouraging messages to inspire those in need. From there, I started my own foundation called the Paris Cares Foundation. I am 10 years old now and have helped over 12,000 people in need.

Let’s talk shop? Tell us more about your career, what can you share with our community?
On each care package I draw a picture and leave an inspiring message. The activity has got many people involved such as students from different schools and my friends help me draw on these bags. Drawing makes kids happy and it’s a way to express yourself while helping others. Many of the homeless people tell me they love the drawing and the inspiring messages because it gives them hope.

Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?
If my best friend was visitng, I would take her to the City Musem, St.Louis Zoo, and the Magic House. We would eat at union station.

I would like to shout out several people the author of A Boys Magic. My Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Yekette for reading us this book
My parents Alicia & Bruce Suber for supporting my dreams and helping me follow through with my plan.
My grandparents, family members, friends, class, and community for always willing to lend a helping hand whereever its needed.
