Meet Naveed Mohajerani | Small Business Owner

We had the good fortune of connecting with Naveed Mohajerani and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Naveed, other than deciding to work for yourself, what else do you think played a pivotal role in your story?
Following my passion and dissolving the idea of what I believed I was supposed to do for work. I find new meaning in what I do everyday—and I am grateful to all of my clients.
What should our readers know about your business?
After teaching people of all ages how to swim since summer of 2008, I founded Freeflow Aquatics in November of 2021. We are a swim school located in Irvine, California and our mission is to help people of all ages become water-safe and experience the benefits of aquatic movement. Getting to our second year of business was challenging and the beginning was never crystal clear. Over-time, we’ve learned to deal with uncertainty and embrace change. Our clients, especially those who have stuck with us from the beginning have been our best source of information in terms of the pivots we’ve made to add more value to their experience.
Our story is one of taking an idea and bringing it to market by means of following a passion. Our brand aims to give an experience into the aquatic domain. We’ve created and refined a learning process that is easily digestible, progressive and aims to have participants experience free-flow in aquatic movement
Any places to eat or things to do that you can share with our readers? If they have a friend visiting town, what are some spots they could take them to?

For food: Chaak Kitchen, Heritage BBQ for amazing food created by passionate people who are changing the way people view these cuisines.
