Hi Natal1e, we’d love to hear about how you approach risk and risk-taking
My motto this year is “take every risk.” This is the first year I feel like I can truly do anything I want to do musically and I feel the best I’ve ever felt. We all get so trapped in what society will think of us or how people will perceive us. I think all creators can agree that we all go through these cycles where we get lost in trying to figure out exactly what people want. When we do that, we lose a piece of our unique self and what we want. I challenge everyone to take the risk in betting on yourself. Stop caring about what other people are doing or want. Go after what you want. Reach out to people you want to work with. The universe will respond. Work hard and consistently, take the risk!

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
I don’t like comparing myself to other people or thinking about what sets me apart from others. What I do know is I am my number one fan. I am my number one hype woman. I believe in myself so much because I’ve been on the other side and I beat it. I beat self doubt and fear. Life will always have challenges but it’s all about how you maneuver through and around them. I want the world to know that you as an individual matters to the well being of the world. Be you. Get rid of people who don’t believe in you 100%. It hurts and or sucks but the right people will come and most importantly you will learn how to love yourself.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I’d start with Oceanside. Great food great drinks great culture. Always show big love for Oceanside cuz they have always shown mad love for me. Plus the beach 🙂

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shout out goes to my small circle. They know who they are. Every single person who has stuck with me through the highs and lows. My amazing supporters who consistently share and support my music. I cut out all the people who made me question myself and I haven’t been happier and more driven.
