We had the good fortune of connecting with Nancy Lessnick and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Nancy, do you have any habits that you feel contribute to your effectiveness?
The habits I feel that help me succeed is consistency and intentions. Putting in the time and learning my trade is very important. I stay motivated! The more I know and the effort I put into place created the positive results to succeed. In addition, everyday I remain thankful and enjoy the process by being persistent with continuous improvements.

Alright, so let’s move onto what keeps you busy professionally?
I love travel blogging and exploring. Slowly started as a hobby for photography into a love for adventure. In addition, I have added Pickleball into my outdoor adventures and have been introducing the game to my followers.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
My favorite spots in San Diego are in the La Jolla area. My favorite places to eat is at El Pescador and The Promiscuous Fork. La Jolla Cove is spectacular with all the marine life. Visiting Sunny Jim Cave is also a fun experience and so easy to do. Hang out on the beach or have a picnic on the cliff to enjoy the sunsets. Watch the paragliders at Torrey Pines Gliderport or go for a beautiful scenic hike in Torrey Pines. Shopping in Downtown La Jolla and check out the art galleries and unique shops.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I would like to do a shoutout to my husband, David Lessnick, for always encouraging me to do what I love. His support and love is also a credit to my success.
