We had the good fortune of connecting with Moana Poyer & Boston Antunez and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Moana Poyer & Boston Antunez, what is the most important factor behind your success?
Although our brand is new, the community in which we produce our work has been nothing short of supportive. The both of us strive to put out creative work and invite our audience to learn more about the theatre industry. Whether it be local actors, casting directors, agents or broadway professionals, we want our audience to understand the ins and the outs of the business. In these troubling times of the pandemic, it has been crucial to the two of us to have a creative outlet and The Theatre Project has done just that! Not only for the two of us, but the community around us.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
What sets us apart from others is the guests we are able to get on our show. It has been a pleasure getting to know all of our guests in their respective fields of work within the theatre industry. We are so so proud to have been able to listen to their knowledge and we hope our viewers (as well as ourselves) can take something away from them!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
We would love to take our friends to Old Town Temecula! The restaurant “Swing Inn” is one of our absolute favorites! After that, we’d go see a show at The Old Town Temecula Theatre!

Who else deserves some credit and recognition?
Bohemian Arts! The non-profit arts organization based in Murrieta, California is the reason The Theatre Project exists! The two of us came to the artistic director Sean Barnett with an idea, and the show was greenlit! Since November, we have all been working on putting out the best content for our viewers. So a huge shoutout to BA!
