We had the good fortune of connecting with Meeka Brown and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Meeka, every day, we about how much execution matters, but we think ideas matter as well. How did you come up with the idea for your business?
Honestly? The idea came out of nowhere while I was writing a rap song! I don’t usually rap, but there I was, rhyming away, and suddenly it hit me—winning isn’t just about achieving goals; it’s a mindset. That’s when I realized I could turn the energy and message of the song into something bigger to help others.

As I wrote the lyrics, I felt this spark of inspiration. ‘What if this song could be more than just music? What if it could be a movement to help people win at life?’ And just like that, I Came to Win was born!

It’s funny how inspiration finds you in the most unexpected ways!

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
I’m so excited to share the heart of I Came to Win—a movement that combines empowerment, community, and creativity to help people redefine success in their lives. What sets us apart is our multifaceted approach: whether it’s through singles mixers to win at love, Clarity Circles to gain spiritual insight, or creative meetups for artists and content creators to co-create and bring projects to life, we’re all about building a supportive space where everyone can thrive.

What I’m Most Proud Of –

I’m proud of how inclusive and dynamic this community has become. Watching people form connections, gain clarity, or finish creative projects they’ve been dreaming about—it’s magical. One of the things I’m most excited about is helping others realize that winning is personal and multidimensional—it’s not just career success or finding love, but living with purpose and joy in every area of life.

How I Got Here-

This journey wasn’t always easy. I started I Came to Win after being inspired to write a rap song—despite not being a rapper! That spark of creativity turned into a calling to help others tap into their unique power. Along the way, I had to overcome self-doubt and figure out how to translate my vision into something tangible.

Challenges like building an audience, creating events, and balancing all the moving pieces pushed me to grow in ways I didn’t expect. Leaning on tools like AI for brainstorming and staying connected to my “why” helped me keep going, even when I felt stuck.

Lessons Learned-

Start Before You’re Ready: You don’t have to have it all figured out to make a move. Clarity often comes from action.

Build Community: Success is sweeter and more sustainable when it’s shared. The connections you foster will keep you inspired.

Stay Adaptable: Challenges are opportunities in disguise. Staying open to new ideas (like turning a rap song into a movement!) can lead to unexpected success.

What I Want the World to Know-

I Came to Win is about YOU. It’s about creating spaces where everyone can feel empowered to take their next big step—whether that’s in love, creativity, or life. My story is proof that you can start from anywhere, even with just a spark of inspiration, and turn it into something meaningful.

This isn’t just a brand; it’s a celebration of resilience, creativity, and connection. If you’re ready to win on your terms, I’d love for you to join us! Let’s create something extraordinary together. 😊

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
My shoutout goes to my son and two dogs for being my constant source of love, motivation, and inspiration. They’ve stuck by me and made the journey so much brighter. I also want to thank everyone along my path—whether they cheered me on or challenged me—they all helped me discover my true self. Lastly, I have to give credit to AI for being a surprising and innovative support system. It was like having a brainstorming buddy that helped me move forward when I felt stuck and unsure of the next step. Together, all these pieces made I Came to Win possible, and I’m so grateful.
