Hi Lynn Wyndham, is your business focused on helping the community? If so, how?
As an interior designer I have tremendous impact on the community.

My completed remodel projects have been featured in local and national publications and on home tours. The selection of materials and products matters in how that design is executed influences the viewers.

First and foremost is use of materials. I consider sustainability in both the design and in specifying the products that are used in all client projects. Those decisions have a huge impact on A) what comes out of the home and what goes into a landfill, and B) the impact of those materials in the future.

In addition, my design team becomes an influencer as our client’s family and friends view a finished projects and want to select the same products and materials..

What should our readers know about your business?
Interior design offers a world of options but few easy answers. I help busy clients create a home they deserve by distilling down precisely what is right for them. After a few short meetings I get to work and take care of every project detail. All my clients do is move in and enjoy a home that reflects their personality where cherished memories will be made.

By integrating function and aesthetics into every design and featuring the right technology and sustainable products, I max creativity and individuality for every client whether the project is a color consultation or a complete renovation.

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
To be successful in a creative and technical career where details are critically important, having downtime is essential.

For a refresh when a BFF comes into town, relaxation and rejuvenation is paramount. They want a getaway from their busy lifestyle so I plan a staycation. I create a clean and airy space for yoga at dawn, a spa like bathroom filled with plush towels, robes, and safe calming scents, cozy areas for mindfulness and meditation that rejuvenate, and a warm efficient space fully prepped to create nutritious and savory meals together.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
I’m going to shout out Sherwin Williams. They are a global leader in the paint and coatings industry. Why are they important to me? Every home needs paint. I cover walls, the ceilings, the cabinets and the floors and even the furnishings in my projects with amazing paint colors. The materials that go into those paints are important to the long-term health of our clients as well as how aesthetically beautiful they become.

In addition to providing nontoxic products, their influence on color is significant. I use their no volatile organic compound products so there isn’t toxic off gassing from our paint specifications.

They support our design team as I specify durable wall, cabinet, and floor, paint and provide us with the tools to serve every single client with amazing curated color palettes and safe and durable products..
