Meet Luke Lintott | Author, Lifestyle Consultant & Public Figure

We had the good fortune of connecting with Luke Lintott and we’ve shared our conversation below.
Hi Luke, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
In 2019, I had the honor of co-leading a retreat with Katie Burke in Ensenada, Mexico. Before this life transformational experience, I had dreamt of launching a wellness business, but gave up before I even began.
I had previously gone through a dark time in my life where I had dropped out of medical school, been dumped by my partner of nearly 9 years, and my job ended. At that time when my world came crashing down, I promised myself that I would never pursue a life just because others deemed it successful, but clashed with who I am at my core.
With this in mind, I moved to San Diego from Seattle with nothing more than 2 checked bags and some boxes full of my belongings. I became a yoga teacher, pursued my passion, living my authentic truth, and began working with low-income youth in schools.
Nonetheless, I didn’t go all in on my dreams and found my wellness business due to my waning confidence, and my lack of direction, focus, and belief in myself.
However, things changed dramatically at my first retreat. I connected with others that were rooting for my rise, and came into alignment with my highest self.
And while volunteering at an orphanage and playing soccer with the boys that lived there, I thought:
“What if I just went for my dreams?!”
After doing some deep healing work, connecting with the most wonderful people, and deciding that I would rather go for my dreams than regret taking a chance on myself, I decided to found my wellness business.
And 2 weeks after this life-changing retreat, I founded Luke Yoga, which still provides the best private yoga and retreats both locally and abroad.
I soon began following a coach and program, and built up a beautiful array of private yoga clients across San Diego while simultaneously completing my MS in Counseling at San Diego State University. I even began teaching yoga every week to high school students at Helix Charter High School.
In 2019, life felt too good to be true.
And then suddenly, COVID began! In one day, 5 of my clients canceled our sessions without any plans to reschedule.
After at first going into panic, I decided to pivot.
Within 7 days of being furloughed by my yoga studio, I offered my first online yoga sculpt class, Live from my bedroom!
After a few setbacks, I began getting some traction, I went on to offer online bootcamps, wellness masterminds, and retreats that people across the world excitedly joined.
And since I’ve gone all in on my dreams as a Lifestyle Consultant both online and in-person, I’ve found my true calling.
I now coach executives to get fit and loved while making money, and direct corporate wellness programs that works.
Through Luke Yoga and Fitergy Corporate Wellness, I provide the best corporate wellness, private yoga, and therapeutic coaching to clients both in San Diego and across the globe. Current and past clients include Lotus and Luna, Lululemon, and Nordstrom.
I am also an author and public figure.

The growth of my wellness businesses has come with determination and a lot of fun! If you follow me on social media, you are aware that I post a lot, and I enjoy having fun promoting my wellness business in innovative and joyous ways.
I am so pleased and happy with the amazing outcomes of my hard work, as the currency of my work lies in my clients attracting their desires and getting healthy, loved, healed, and successful.
I have loved sharing my truth with the world while scaling both Luke Yoga & Fitergy.
Nonetheless, I recognize that stepping into my fullest power as a business owner, author, and public figure has come with both highs and lows. There have been challenges with being so open, visible, and aligned with my purpose and passion while publicly living my authentic truth.
Many people love what I do, while both friends and family of the past have Blocked and Unfollowed me. I now see rejection as redirection, and see all of this as a blessing.
Furthermore, my story from addiction to self love connects me with my bigger purpose in spreading wellness to all!
Through this process of ascending and scaling my wellness businesses, I have learned more about myself, my strengths, and built up my confidence outside of how others perceive me.
With this in mind, I am so grateful for my clients, friends, and mentors who have been with me through it all.
Thank you!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
I love Hillcrest, which is the neighborhood that I now call home. With this in mind, I would be sure to take them to Baby Cakes for my favorite vegan chocolate cupcake, Better Buzz Coffee for my favorite fancy caffeinated drink, and one of the nearby clubs to watch a drag show and go out dancing.
I would also take them to Ocean Beach to explore all of my favorite shops, get some pastries at OB Coffee Roasters, and also enjoy some delicious local Mexican cuisine at Ortiz’s.
As I love the beach, we would definitely visit Sunset Cliffs, La Jolla, and Solana Beach. We would likely visit Mission Beach and go rollerskating on the boardwalk while listening to music and watching the sunset.
Time permitting, we would also visit Black’s Beach and do some yoga on the sand. We would later watch the sunset while eating a burrito and cooled, delicious beverages.
Later that day, we would likely do my favorite hot yoga class. I would also take them out to get some Thai food, and close out the night with a vegan delicacy at Extraordinary Desserts.
To connect with me even more deeply on this journey that we call life, I’d love to invite you to connect with me on my inspiring Instagram page @limitless_luke, on TikTok @lukelintott, and our “Mindfully Sculpted” group on Facebook.

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
In the journey of life, we encounter many guides—some light our path, while others challenge us to grow beyond our imagined limits. I am deeply grateful for the myriad of mentors, teachers, and wise souls who have inspired me to chase my dreams. People like Jorge Cruise, Asa Leveaux, and Emily Sussell have not only been incredible sources of knowledge but also pillars of support in my personal and professional growth.
Equally, I must acknowledge the invaluable lessons learned from challenging relationships and the complex systems around us. These experiences have molded me into the resilient and determined individual I am today. They’ve taught me the value of strength in adversity and the power of transformation through persistence.
To my friends and family, your unwavering support has been priceless. Your belief in my vision has fueled my journey through every high and low.
And to my incredible clients, thank you for entrusting me to help you reach your transformation goals. Your courage and commitment to change inspire me every day.
