We had the good fortune of connecting with Keniece Perscell and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Keniece, what was your thought process behind starting your own business?
The thought process behind starting HER Realty Group was deeply personal and intentional. I wanted a name that speaks to inclusivity and empowerment. While “HER” references women, it symbolizes something universal, as we all come from a woman. My mission with HER Realty Group is to educate, uplift, and encourage people to see real estate as an accessible investment. I believe in making real estate achievable for everyone, and through HER Realty Group, I aim to guide people in building lasting wealth and security for themselves and their communities.

Alright, so for those in our community who might not be familiar with your business, can you tell us more?
HER Realty Group is more than just a real estate company; it’s a mission-driven community that’s here to educate, uplift, and encourage people to invest in real estate. What sets us apart is our dedication to inclusivity. Real estate can sometimes feel exclusive or intimidating, but I’ve always believed in making it accessible to everyone, no matter where they come from, their background, or what their goals might be. I want people to feel welcomed and empowered to take control of their financial future through real estate.

Getting to where I am today has been a journey. It wasn’t always easy. Like many in this industry, I faced my share of challenges—times when deals didn’t go through, or when I felt underestimated. Overcoming these obstacles taught me resilience and reinforced my commitment to my vision. I’ve learned to embrace setbacks as part of growth and to always keep my focus on the bigger picture of what HER Realty Group represents.

What I’m most proud of is the rebranding journey we’ve recently taken to focus on the needs of the community rather than on luxury alone. This shift has made our mission even more impactful. I want the world to know that HER Realty Group is here to make a global difference. We’re not just about helping people buy and sell homes; we’re here to change lives, build generational wealth, and create a legacy that stands for education, empowerment, and inclusivity.

This journey is just getting started, and I’m excited to see the lives we can impact as we grow.

Let’s say your best friend was visiting the area and you wanted to show them the best time ever. Where would you take them? Give us a little itinerary – say it was a week long trip, where would you eat, drink, visit, hang out, etc.
I typically enjoy going with the flow and keeping plan at a minimal but if I must it’d go as follows.

Day 1: Claremont Village Stroll
Start with brunch at Claremont Village, exploring boutiques, galleries, and cafes. Dinner at Sanamluang Thai Cuisine in Pomona, then drinks and live music at The Glass House.

Day 2: Pomona Arts & Culture
We’d tour the Pomona Arts Colony and its galleries, followed by lunch at O’Donovan’s Restaurant & Pub. In the evening, a visit to Fairplex for any events or exhibits.

Day 3: Laguna Beach Day
Spend the day at Laguna Beach with lunch at Las Brisas for ocean views. After sunset, head to Pacific City in Huntington Beach for dinner and nightlife.

Day 4: Temecula Wine Tasting
A trip to Temecula to tour wineries like Wilson Creek and Ponte Winery, with a stroll and dinner in Old Town Temecula.

Day 5: Local Relaxation & Eats
Breakfast at Some Crust Bakery in Claremont, then browsing nearby shops. Dinner at Café Allegro in La Verne to unwind.

Day 6: LA Adventure
Kick off with breakfast at The Original Pantry Cafe, then explore Griffith Observatory and The Getty Center. Dinner in Koreatown at Quarters Korean BBQ.

Day 7: Shopping & Farewell
Finish with shopping at Victoria Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, brunch at Lazy Dog Restaurant & Bar, and an evening movie at Edwards Cinema.

The Shoutout series is all about recognizing that our success and where we are in life is at least somewhat thanks to the efforts, support, mentorship, love and encouragement of others. So is there someone that you want to dedicate your shoutout to?
By husband, who’s my biggest cheerleader and coach. My mother who’s no longer with us. She always pushed me to follow my dreams, my own path. Last but certainly not least, my Dad. He’s the first man to ever love me. He’s always so encouraging and ensuring to remind me that the Lord is all I need.
