We had the good fortune of connecting with Jesse London and we’ve shared our conversation below.

Hi Jesse, we’d love to hear more about how you thought about starting your own business?
I’ve always loved music more than anything else. One night while scrolling on YouTube, I stumbled upon a video of Jim Carrey saying “You can fail at what you don’t want, so you might as well take a chance on doing what you love.” I started looking at things a little bit differently after that.

Can you open up a bit about your work and career? We’re big fans and we’d love for our community to learn more about your work.
One of my biggest musical heroes, Jerry Garcia, said “You don’t want to be the best at what you do, you want to be the only one.” I’ve always strived to live by those words.

I’ve learned that there’s good days and bad days with anything you decide to do in life and I’m just gonna keep being me and doing my thing.

Any time of the day where I have a guitar is always my favorite!

If you had a friend visiting you, what are some of the local spots you’d want to take them around to?
Some of the best places I’ve been in the area are:

Pizza Sociale Los Angeles
Anza Borrego Desert
Mike’s Taco Club Ocean Beach
In N Out Burger
Oceanside Pier
Strawberry Shack Carlsbad
Torrey Pines State Park
Hodads Burgers
Sunset Cliffs

Shoutout is all about shouting out others who you feel deserve additional recognition and exposure. Who would you like to shoutout?
I owe the biggest thank you to my first teacher Andy Rivers. Andy taught me a lot about music and what I could do with it. He was one hell of a guy and I miss him every day.
